The method includes: processing first information, where a processing process includes π/2 binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulation, layer mapping, discrete Fourier transform (DFT) precoding, precoding, and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform generation; and sending the processed first information to a network device. According to embodiments, a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) can be reduced.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for transmitting a preamble in a random access procedure are described herein. A user terminal may transmit two or more preambles to access a base station, for example, on a selected random access channel (RACH) in a contention-based random access procedure. The user terminal receives a random access response (RAR) from the base station, for example, on PDCCH, wherein the RAR is a response of the preambles transmitted by the transmitter. More than one preamble is transmitted by the user terminal in a contention-based random access procedure. In this way, the user terminal has a lower probability of transmitting the same preambles that other user terminals have transmitted. This helps the user terminal efficiently avoid a collision with other user terminals in the random access procedure. The user terminal therefore has a higher probability of a successful access.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a signal processing method and a terminal. The method includes: receiving a control signal. Channel state information between a coordinated base station and the terminal and between the serving base station and the terminal is determined. Information is about determined time difference or information about a phase difference of arrival between signals sent by the coordinated base station and the serving base station at the terminal according to the channel state information. Adjustment information is sent to the serving base station so that the serving base station adjusts the sending time, phase, or pre-coding manner of the signal according to the adjustment information.
