Abstract: This application provides a packet sending method, a network device, and a system. The method includes: A first network device receives an advertisement message sent by a second network device, where the advertisement message includes segment routing policy SR policy information and traffic feature information, and the SR policy information includes a segment identifier list SID list. The first network device establishes a correspondence between the traffic feature information and the SID list according to the advertisement message, where the correspondence is used to guide forwarding of a packet including the traffic feature information.

Abstract: A forwarding entry generation method includes sending, by a controller, a plurality of resource allocation request messages to a plurality of network devices in a network slice, to trigger the plurality of network devices to allocate resources, where the resource allocation request message includes an identifier of the network slice and a resource that needs to be allocated by a corresponding network device to the network slice; receiving, by the controller, a plurality of resource allocation response messages including the identifier of the network slice and a segment identifier of a corresponding network device, and a resource allocated by each device belongs to the network slice; and generating, by the controller, a forwarding table corresponding to the network slice, where the forwarding table includes a forwarding entry for arriving at a network device in the network slice.

Abstract: A packet processing method and a network device is disclosed. The method includes a first network device obtains a packet. The first network device adds first indication information and second indication information to the packet, to obtain an updated packet, where the first indication information and the second indication information are located in a multi-protocol label switching MPLS packet header of the updated packet, the first indication information indicates a network slice corresponding to the packet, and the second indication information indicates a forwarding path of the packet. The first network device sends the updated packet to a second network device. A network slice corresponding to a packet and a forwarding path of the packet are respectively indicated in an MPLS packet header via different indication information.
