Abstract: A method for transmitting data includes modulating data bits with a constellation to produce modulated data symbols, precoding the modulated data symbols to obtain ns groups of precoded samples, where ns is equal to a number of non-zero terms in a sparse code associated with the transmitting device, mapping the ns groups of precoded samples to groups of subcarriers in accordance with the sparse code associated with the transmitting device, to obtain a plurality of subcarrier-mapped samples, transforming the plurality of subcarrier-mapped samples into encoded data symbols, and transmitting the encoded data symbols.

Abstract: A method for determining time information is disclosed. The method includes: obtaining, by a network node, information sent by a terminal device; and determining, by the network node, at least one of the following based on the information: a first time interval between downlink scheduling and downlink data transmission, a second time interval between the downlink data transmission and a feedback message sent by the terminal device after the terminal device receives downlink data, and a third time interval between uplink scheduling and uplink data transmission, where the information may include at least one of a subcarrier spacing, an operating band, and a bandwidth that are supported by the terminal device, and further include a first smallest value and/or a second smallest value and/or a third smallest value corresponding to the at least one item. Therefore, flexibility and accuracy of determining the time information are improved.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide a signal transmission method and apparatus, and is applied to a multi-band communications system. Under the method, a terminal reports bandwidth capability information of a first frequency band in a plurality of frequency bands to a radio access network node. An operating band of the terminal includes the first frequency band, the bandwidth capability information of the first frequency band indicates a bandwidth capability of the terminal in the first frequency band, the bandwidth capability in the first frequency band is not less than a first threshold, and the first threshold is determined based on a maximum bandwidth capability of the terminal, the first frequency band, or a subcarrier spacing of the first frequency band. The terminal can send or receive a signal on a resource allocated by the radio access network node based on the bandwidth capability information.

Abstract: A sidelink (SL) configuration for SL communications directly between a communication terminal and another communication terminal is separate from a communication network link configuration for communications with network equipment in some embodiments. An SL configuration, which could be an SL reconfiguration or an SL preconfiguration for use by the communication terminal after the terminal transitions from in coverage to out of coverage, could be transmitted through network/terminal signaling, and detailed examples of such signaling are disclosed herein. An SL configuration could be or include an SL bandwidth part (BWP) configuration and an SL communication resource configuration, such as one or more resource pools, within the SL BWP. An SL configuration that is determined and transmitted by network equipment to one or more terminals could also or instead involve a common or initial SL configuration to be used for SL communications by multiple communication terminals.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for wireless communication in which a downlink control information (DCI) is transmitted in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a first bandwidth part (BWP). A UE is responsible for determining a starting resource block (RB) for a data transmission allocated by the DCI based on a value of a frequency domain resource allocation field in the DCI, a reference RB, and a reference size of a second BWP. The data transmission can then be transmitted, in the case of, for example, PUSCH, by a UE or received, in the case of, for example, PDSCH.
