    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an information transmission method and a device. The method includes: sending, by a first device, indication information to a second device, where the indication information is used to indicate a report mode, and the report mode specifies content of measurement information to be reported by the second device; and receiving, by the first device, the measurement information sent by the second device, where the measurement information includes a measurement result that is obtained by the second device based on a reference signal sent by the first device, the reference signal is sent through transmit ports of the first device, the measurement information includes information about transmit port groups corresponding to the transmit ports, and the transmit port groups corresponding to the transmit ports are determined by using reception information of the second device.

    Abstract: A measurement and reporting method is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a measurement configuration from a base station, the measurement configuration indicates a plurality of measurement objects to be measured; obtaining measurement results and channel characteristic values respectively corresponding to the plurality of measurement objects; and sending channel characteristic values and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, or group identification information and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, where different groups correspond to different channel characteristic values. The base station determines, from a plurality of measurement object groups, a plurality of target measurement objects used to send data to the terminal.     Abstract: Example reference signal transmission methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a base station divides a transmission bandwidth into a plurality of frequency domain units, and sends reference signal sending configuration information to a terminal. The terminal transmits a reference signal on one or more frequency domain units. The one or more frequency domain units and another frequency domain unit form a part of the transmission bandwidth supported by the base station. The terminal sends the reference signal on the one or more frequency domain units to the base station based on the reference signal sending configuration information.
