    Abstract: A method of determining the location of a client device includes selecting sets of four access points (APs) from APs that can communicate with a client device. Each set of four APs forms a quadrilateral that contains the location of the client device. The method further includes selecting a first quadrilateral from quadrilaterals formed by the sets of four APs based on a policy, and, with the first quadrilateral, executing a time-of-flight (ToF)-based distance estimation process to determine the location of the client device.

    Abstract: An example communications device includes communications circuitry and control circuitry. The communications circuitry may wirelessly communicate with client devices. The control circuitry may determine signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratios (SINRs) for the client devices based on compressed client-side channel state information received from the client devices. The control circuitry may assign the client devices to multi-user-multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MIMO) groups based on the SINRs.

    Abstract: Described herein are techniques for determining a location of a device. In an example, a group of access points may be selected. Time-of-flight (ToF) measurements relative to the device may be received from each of the access points in the group. A respective distance of the device from each access point may be determined using the ToF measurements and a baseToF value. Location coordinates of the device and a new baseToF value may be determined based on the determined distances and the location coordinates of each access point in the group.
