摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a connection box for plural kinds of fusible links each having different dimensions wherein the connection box is constructed in such a manner as to allow the respective fusible links to be firmly fitted to the connection box with excellent stability. The connection box for plural kinds of fusible links is integrally molded of a heat-resisting synthetic resin and includes a horizontal box-shaped portion and a vertical wall portion as essential components. An opposing pair of common slots are formed through a bottom wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion while extending not only in parallel with each other but also in parallel with the opposite side walls defining a peripheral wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion. The interior of the peripheral wall is stepwise recessed so an to enable plural kinds of fusible links each having different dimensions to be received therein. In the shown case, two kinds of inner peripheral walls are formed inside of the peripheral wall of the horizontal box-shaped portion so as to receive two kinds of housings for the fusible links herein.

摘要： Disclosure is a fusible link which prevents a housing from being deformed and discolored due to unnecessary generation of heat in a fuse element. In the fusible link, each of connecting plates includes two elastic engagement pieces and two projections respectively in each of ribs which are formed by folding the two ends of the connecting plate. A housing includes, in the inner wall of a connecting plate insertion hole through which the connecting plate is inserted, a connecting plate slip-off preventive stepped portion to be engaged by the elastic engagement piece and a connecting plate slip-off preventive flange against which the preventive projection is abutted. When the connecting plate is inserted through the connecting plate insertion hole, the engagement portions in the connecting plate are engaged with engagement portions in the housing respectively.

摘要： A socket contact is constituted by a general tubular-shaped body and a pair of opposed resilient members formed by splitting the front portion of the general tubular body with a pair of slits. One of the opposed resilient members has an inner surface having a pair of contacting portions at the predetermined peripheral intervals. The other opposed resilient member has an inner surface having a contact portion in confronting relation with a peripheral center of the pair of contacting portions of the one of the opposed resilient members. As a result, it is possible to clamp a male contact to be inserted stably between the opposed resilient members and then to keep a posture of the male contact with high contact pressure against the male contact.

摘要： A connector is disclosed wherein a flexible retaining piece for engagement with a terminal is disposed in a terminal receiving chamber of a housing body, and a spacer for preventing the flexing of the flexible retaining piece is inserted into a gap which allows the flexing of said flexible retaining piece. The abutment wall is provided in the housing body in opposed relation to a side surface of the flexible retaining piece. The spacer is provided in the gap so as to slide in a direction perpendicular to the side surface of the flexible retaining piece. Engaging holes and flexure prevention portions for the flexible retaining pieces are provided on the spacer and are arranged in the direction of slide of the spacer.

摘要： There is disclosed a fusible link which obviates the need for a spacer for supporting a fuse element. An insulative housing includes an integral bottom wall through which at least one pair of through holes are formed. A fuse element extends through these through holes, and includes terminal portions and resilient retaining piece portions. The resilient retaining piece portion and the bent terminal portion holds the bottom wall of the housing, thereby retaining the fuse element relative to the housing.

摘要： Disclosed is a fusible link which assures that a fuse element is completely and firmly received in a housing without any occurrence of incorrect contact of a male terminal with an opponent female terminal. Lances slantwise extending from a fuse element received in a housing are engaged with stepped engagement portions. While a cover is fitted to the housing, a plurality of projections extending from the cover are brought in contact with electrical contact portions of the fuse element so that the fuse element is firmly received in the housing at a predetermined position. Consequently, the fuse element is reliably received in the housing in the double engaged state without an occurrence of incorrect insertion of the fuse element.

摘要： An inexpensive delay-breaking fuse which assures that when an electric current having an intensity in excess of a value representing a steady-state current such as a motor lock electric current or the like flows through the delay-breaking fuse, durability of the fuse is left unchanged, a stable prearching time/current characteristic is maintained, and moreover, there does not arise a malfunction that a housing is thermally deformed or the color of the housing is changed to other one. The delay-breaking fuse includes a fuse element having a pair of female terminal portions arranged on the opposite sides thereof with an electrical conductive melting portion having a reduced width bridged therebetween with a melting/breaking part located at the intermediate position of the electrical conductive melting portion. A pair of heat radiating plates are projected upward of the upper end edge of a base plate integrated with the female terminal portions in order to radiate heat from the electrical conductive melting portion. The heat radiating plates are caused to extend from the upper end edge of the base plate while they are located adjacent to the electrical conductive melting portion.

摘要： A watertight electric connector has a male connector housing, a female connector housing to be mated with the male connector housing, a ring-shaped packing in close contact with an outer wall of the male connector housing, and a slidable protection cover disposed so as to cover the periphery of the packing.
