In the case where the contents are recorded in a plurality of devices, only a device to which the external storage medium is connected is made to be capable of reproducing the contents. A contents reproducing function is implemented as a program in a component form.

摘要： An identification code management method and management system includes that the issue and distribution of an ID code having a message authentication code are managed thereby to efficiently and reliably manage a material object using the ID code. An electronic circuit chip with an ID code having a message authentication code stored in a read-only area is used as an identification tag. The information at an ID code order receiving terminal and an identification tag production factory terminal are consolidated and collectively managed at an ID code management terminal. Thereby, the ID code management terminal is inquired of highly confidential information or requested to process the information as required so that an ID code utilization terminal is not required to store the same information.

The identifier control unit registers the ticket identifier to a database and erases the ticket in case of exit. The identifier control unit receives an identifier set of a ticket identifier and a user's unit identifier from a user's unit, checks to judge whether an identifier set matching the received identifier set in the database. If the result is positive, the delivery service providing unit delivers digital contents to the user's unit. It then becomes possible to provide only the users existing in the area with the contents deliver service.

摘要： To provide a system which, when data are incorporated into a household device via a bridging medium, is capable of ensuring security in the household device without installing security functions in the household device or bridging medium and regardless of whether the household device and a gateway in which security functions are integrated are connected via a network. The household device transfers data received via the bridging medium to the gateway, whereupon the security of the data is confirmed by security functions in the gateway. Only confirmed data are stored, whereupon a program or the like is executed. When the gateway and household device are not connected through a network, a signature is created in the gateway and this signature is verified in the household device.
