摘要: The present invention aims at developing a deinking method applicable to the deinking of, for example, waste OA (office automation) paper and telephone directories, whereby a deinked pulp having a high whiteness and little contamination with large ink spots and unliberated ink can be obtained. The object of the present invention can be achieved by deinking, for example, waste OA paper or telephone directories by using a deinking composition containing as an effective component a reaction mixture (III) obtained by conducting the addition reaction of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide with a mixture (I) comprising a fat and oil (a) and a mono- to hexahydric alcohol (b) and/or with a transesterification mixture (II) obtained by conducting the transesterification reaction of a fat and oil (a) with a mono- to hexahydric alcohol (b), in such a manner that the molar ratio of ethylene oxide to propylene oxide which are used as starting materials ranges from 0.8 to 1.2 and that the molar number of ethylene oxide which is used for the addition reaction ranges from 50 to 100 mol per mole of the fat and oil (a).

摘要: A printing and displaying apparatus for printing characters on a heat-sensitive recording medium and, at the same time, providing a visual display of printed characters to permit visual observation of the state of printing. The apparatus comprises a transparent platen having a surface area larger than the area of one frame of the recording medium which is brought into engagement at its heat-sensitive surface with the associated surface of the platen, and a thermal printing head making printing engagement with the non-heat-sensitive surface of the recording medium. The thermal printing head is carried by a carriage which is mounted on supporting means supporting the carriage so as to be movable in both the row direction and the column direction. This supporting means is controlled by drive means and drive control means so that the printing head can be moved to any desired position within the extent of one frame of the recording medium. Characters being printed on the recording medium can thus be observed through the transparent platen.

摘要: A deinking method comprising the steps of liberating ink from waste paper as a raw material and removing the liberated ink from a flotation system, wherein a nonionic surfactant, e.g., a reaction product obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to a mixture of an oil & fat and an alcohol, an alkylene oxide adduct of a fatty acid, or an alkylene oxide adduct of a higher alcohol, is used for the liberation of ink, and the flotation step is effected in the presence of a cationic compound, an amine, an acid salt of an amine or an amphoteric compound at a pH of from 4 to 9, provides a high quality deinked pulp having a high whiteness and a little residual ink spots.

摘要: An electrochemical stain prevention apparatus of a submerged structure comprising a submerged structure of which at least the stain prevention surface is formed of a conductive film that does not generate chlorine even by applying a potential of 5 V vs. SCE or less, a counter electrode located so as not to contact with the submerged structure, and a power supply unit for passing a direct current through the submerged structure having the conductive film formed thereon and the counter electrode. Aquatic organisms adhered to the surface of the conductive film can effectively be controlled by applying a potential of from 0.1 to 5 V vs. SCE to the submerged structure of such a stain prevention apparatus without generating chlorine. A potential applied to the conductive film of the submerged structure can be controlled with good accuracy by disposing a reference electrode between the submerged structure and the counter electrode. As the conductive film formed on the substrate of the submerged structure, a sprayed coating film made of a metal nitride can preferably be used.

摘要: An In Circuit Emulator includes first and second memories, a emulation chip, gate circuit, and an input circuit. The first memory stores a program to be executed by a target system. The second memory stores a program for controlling the emulation chip. The emulation chip emulates the target system, and includes: a first latch for latching an externally supplied supervisor interrupt request signal; a second latch for latching a macro service request; and a sequencer for selectively accessing the first and second memories in response to the supervisor interrupt request signal and the macro service request to execute a corresponding program, the sequencer executing the macro service request independent of the supervisor interrupt request signal latched in the first latch. The gate circuit outputs control signals for controlling access to the first and second memories. The input circuit directly inputs the macro service request latched in the second latch.
