    摘要： A recording/reproducing apparatus is provided for effecting digital processing to convert an analog video signal into a digital signal without losing character data superimposed over a vertical blanking period of the analog video signal. The recording/reproducing apparatus for converting the analog video signal into the digital signal and recording/reproducing the converted digital signal has a detector which detects character data, which is superimposed over the vertical blanking period of the received analog video signal, at the recording time. A superimposer which encodes the detected character data and superimposes the encoded character data over a digital signal from which the character data was removed, whereby the digital signal with the superimposed character data is recorded on the recording media. There is also a detector which detects first copy guard data superimposed over the vertical blanking period and second copy guard data superimposed over a color burst signal; and an adder which adds the two detected copy guard data to a signal reproduced from the recording media.

    摘要： For achieving a recording apparatus and a reproducing apparatus enabling to function an interface of digital signals even when recording and reproducing analog signals, wherein the analog signal reproduced in an analog signal recording/reproducing circuit is converted into the digital signal in an encoder so as to be outputted from an interface circuit when reproducing the analog signal, while the digital signal inputted from the interface circuit is converted in a decoder into the analog signal to be recorded when recording the analog signal. Further, it comprises a digital signal recording/reproducing circuit for recording/reproducing a first digital signal into a recording medium, a converter for converting between the first digital signal and a second digital signal, and an interface circuit for inputting/outputting the second digital signal.

Each terminal of all of the attendees has a touch-panel-equipped terminal having a function of dividing any input line drawing on the terminal into line segment data, successively transmitting the line segment data to the controller, and displaying line drawing information transmitted from the controller on the display of the touch-panel-equipped terminal. A liquid crystal projector having a controller that can be embedded therein or that is connectable thereto is provided, the controller having a function of sequentially recording line drawing information transmitted from each touch-panel-equipped terminal in a data base, adding the line drawing information to a video image memory of the whiteboard, and projecting the video image memory contents onto a wall surface while transmitting information of the data base to each touch-panel-equipped terminal.

    摘要： An apparatus for recording/reproducing video and audio signals on/from a recording medium includes a first and second tuner which receive a video signal of a first and second format transmitted by broadcasting, respectively; a recorder which records the video signal of the first format from the first tuner on the recording medium; a reproducer which reproduces the video signal of the first format from the recording medium; and a decoder which decodes the video signal of first format from the reproducer and converts the decoded signal to another video signal of the second format. A switching circuit is provided which selects one of the another video signal of the second format and the video signal of the second format as a selected video signal, and a video output terminal outputs the selected video signal through an on-screen display unit.
