    摘要： For achieving a recording apparatus and a reproducing apparatus enabling to function an interface of digital signals even when recording and reproducing analog signals, wherein the analog signal reproduced in an analog signal recording/reproducing circuit is converted into the digital signal in an encoder so as to be outputted from an interface circuit when reproducing the analog signal, while the digital signal inputted from the interface circuit is converted in a decoder into the analog signal to be recorded when recording the analog signal. Further, it comprises a digital signal recording/reproducing circuit for recording/reproducing a first digital signal into a recording medium, a converter for converting between the first digital signal and a second digital signal, and an interface circuit for inputting/outputting the second digital signal.

    摘要： A recording/reproducing apparatus is provided for effecting digital processing to convert an analog video signal into a digital signal without losing character data superimposed over a vertical blanking period of the analog video signal. The recording/reproducing apparatus for converting the analog video signal into the digital signal and recording/reproducing the converted digital signal has a detector which detects character data, which is superimposed over the vertical blanking period of the received analog video signal, at the recording time. A superimposer which encodes the detected character data and superimposes the encoded character data over a digital signal from which the character data was removed, whereby the digital signal with the superimposed character data is recorded on the recording media. There is also a detector which detects first copy guard data superimposed over the vertical blanking period and second copy guard data superimposed over a color burst signal; and an adder which adds the two detected copy guard data to a signal reproduced from the recording media.

During N-times long time recording, the travel speed of a magnetic recording medium is set to 1/N of that during normal recording to perform recording every N scanning operations of a rotary head and during N-times long time reproduction, the travel speed of the magnetic recording medium is set to 1/N of that during normal recording and the travel of the magnetic recording medium is controlled such that the level of a reproduction signal reproduced every N scanning operations of the rotary head at a predetermined timing is maximized so as to reproduce a reproduction signal at that timing.

    摘要： A digital information signal transmitting/receiving method and system having a transmitter for transmitting an encrypted digital information signal and a plurality of receivers for receiving the encrypted digital information signal from the transmitter. The transmitter simultaneously distributes a plurality of identification codes associated with the receivers at a time ahead of the digital information signal. The receivers detect whether a particular identification code assigned to the receiver was included within a received plurality of identification codes. When the particular identification code has been detected as having been received the received encrypted digital information signal is decrypted into the original digital information. In order to request that a particular identification code be included so as to allow access to a program, either one of the receivers or the recorders each generate an information request signal. The transmitter is responsive to the information request signals to add to the digital information signal at a time ahead of the digital information signal, identification signals for identifying the receivers or the recorders which generated the information request signals, thereby producing a transmission signal formed of those signals, and to distribute this transmission signal to the receivers. The recorders control the received information signal to be recorded in response to the identification signals received by the receivers.
