摘要： A gateway device in an IP communications system can be controlled by a gateway controller even when an IP address of the gateway device is not fixed. The IP communications system includes a gateway device having a subscriber terminal interconnected thereto, a gateway controller for controlling the gateway device, provided on a subscriber side in accordance with a protocol conforming to the master-slave architecture, a database for providing subscriber information to the gateway controller, and an IP address allocator for dynamically allocating IP addresses. The gateway device requests the IP address allocator to allocate an IP address to acquire an IP address, and notifies the gateway controller of that IP address to get the IP address stored in the database.

摘要： A magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus amplifies a current representing a recording signal reproduced from an information signal recorded on a magnetic tape, suppresses low frequency components of the current amplified signal, then amplifies a voltage representing the suppressed signal. The voltage amplified signal is supplied from a primary winding of a rotary transformer inside a drum to a secondary winding of the rotary transformer disposed outside the drum, and then its low frequency components are emphasized. This avoids the problems of an inadequate S/N in the low frequency components of the output of a voltage amplifier, and difficulty in providing a high voltage signal from a current amplifier. The emphasized signal is supplied to one of a plurality of equalizing circuits that respectively equalize a signal reproduced at one of a plurality of frequencies. The inputs of the equalizing circuits and a terminating resistance are connected to serially located nodes of a transmission line, with higher frequency equalizing circuits disposed closer to the terminating resistance, thereby avoiding introduction of amplitude distortion in the emphasized signal due to reflection along the transmission line.

摘要： A printing mechanism of a line printer for printing Braille characters is disclosed. The printing mechanism comprises a base member having a plurality of printing pins arranged in a row and adapted to be prevented from moving downward in response to the energization of solenoids corresponding to character patterns to be printed, a semicircular printing plate for pressing a paper against the printing pins and a printing plate driving mechanism. During every printing operation, the printing plate is rocked in a lengthwise direction by a pair of rotating disks provided at the ends of the printing plate and each including an eccentric cam groove different in phase with each other, so that the paper is successively pressed against the printing pins in the direction of their arrangement and the raised dots are produced. In another embodiment of the invention, the printing plate is operated by a pair of piston-crank mechanisms provided at the ends of the printing plate.
