    摘要: A laminate film has a clear layer (B) comprising an acrylic-based polymer (B1) having at least one longer unsaturated double bond group and at least one shorter unsaturated double bond group as side chains, and having a weight-average molecular weight not less than 50,000 but not more than 500,000, the longer unsaturated double bond group introduced in the acrylic-based polymer (B1) by a long-chain unsaturated carboxylic acid having a molecular weight of 150 or more, and the shorter unsaturated double bond group introduced in the acrylic-based polymer (B1) by a short-chain unsaturated carboxylic acid having a molecular weight of less than 150. Compared with laminate films prepared by spray coating, dip coating, or other coating methods, this laminate film is excellent in processability, coating film properties, and ornamental properties. Thus, an article can be excellently decorated with the laminate film provided by the present invention.

    摘要: The shell main body for a muffler includes an inner shell in a cylindrical shape with a cross-section of an imperfect circle defined by small arc portions alternating with large arc portions; and an outer shell wrapping the inner shell and formed in a cylindrical shape similar to the inner shell. An end portion of the inner shell and an end portion of the outer shell are overlapped in a circumstantial direction of the shell main body to form a shell overlap portion that is capable of discharging vapor in a gap of the large arc portions formed between the inner shell and the outer shell into one of an outside and an inside of the shell main body. This shell overlapping portion is located in one of the small arc portions.

    摘要: The present invention's multimode optical fiber is characterized in that the propagating modes include a mode the lowest and second or higher order modes; and the difference between the propagation constants of the lowest order mode and the second order mode is 2-fold or more than the difference between the propagation constants of adjacent modes that are second order or higher order modes. Due to this design, single mode propagation becomes possible once the modes have propagated over a specific distance. As a result, it is possible to relax the conventional single mode conditions, enabling the fiber parameters to be set relatively freely.

    摘要: In a door-mounted button lock a stored condition or a non-stored condition is selected by rotating button bodies inserted in a case frame. A screwdriver notch 56 is slotted in one end of a button body 54 for optionally selecting the stored or non-stored condition; a lock flange 57 holds each button body in a locked condition when depressed; upper and lower fan-shaped stopper flanges 60 and 60′ have different phases in a 180° peripheral direction; a shank 55′ having a square cross section is integrally formed for sliding relative to a slide notch 37 of a key plate 40; and the lever handle can be rotated relative to the rotation shaft 77 via a snap washer 84 to prevent extraction. The stored or non-stored condition can be optionally selected in accordance with the button keyword by rotating the screwdriver notch 180°. The key plate can slide over a wide range of rotation angles of an engagement portion for permitting the key plate to slide to decreased wear. A lever handle 7′ can be fixed with a screw 85′ relative to a rotation shaft 77 for right-handed or left-handed operation.

    摘要: The present invention is an optical apparatus, e.g. an image display apparatus, which enables observation of a clear image at a wide field angle with substantially no reduction in the brightness of the observation image, and which is extremely small in size and light in weight and hence unlikely to cause the observer to be fatigued. The optical apparatus has an image display device (6), and an ocular optical system (7) for leading an image of the image display device (6) to an observer's eyeball (1). The ocular optical system (7) includes, in order from the image side, a third surface (5) which forms an entrance surface, a first surface (3) which forms both a reflecting surface and an exit surface, and a second surface (4) which forms a reflecting surface. The first to third surfaces (3 to 5) are integrally formed with a medium put therebetween which has a refractive index larger than 1. A bundle of light rays emitted from the image display device (6) enters the ocular optical system (7) while being refracted by the third surface (5) and is internally reflected by the first surface (3) and reflected by the second surface (4). Then, the ray bundle is incident on the first surface (3) again and refracted thereby so as to be projected into the observer's eyeball with the observer's iris position or eyeball rolling center as the exit pupil (1).

    摘要: A compact and lightweight visual display apparatus which enables observation of an image that is clear throughout the image field at a field angle of 120.degree. when the user observes with both eyes, and which has a large exit pupil diameter. The visual display apparatus has a two-dimensional image display device (6) for displaying an image for observation, a relay optical system (5) for projecting a real image of the two-dimensional image display device (6) in the air, an ocular magnifier (3) for projecting the real image in the air as an enlarged image and for reflectively bending an optical axis, and a decentered correcting optical system (4) disposed between the relay optical system (5) and the ocular magnifier (3) and having surfaces (41 and 42) decentered with respect to each other. The decentered correcting optical system (4) is arranged such that the vertex (43) of the surface (41) which is closer to the ocular magnifier (3) lies inward of the visual axis (7) after it has been reflected by the ocular magnifier (3), and the ocular magnifier-side surface (41) is an aspherical surface formed from such a curved surface that the refractive power reaches a maximum in the vicinity of the surface vertex (43) and becomes weaker as the distance from the vertex (43) increases toward the outer side. The apparatus may be arranged to correct the diopter by making at least one optical element movable.

    摘要: A pin contact of a connector and a method of fabricating the pin contact which enables a substantial decrease of manufacturing cost, and smooth installation of the pin connector without a change in the pitch of arrangement at the time of press-fitting into a pin housing. A flat metal sheet undergoes blanking and pressing to form a narrow piece including a strip portion of decreased area of a fracture. Then an approximately L-shaped connecting portion is bent at right angles to raise the narrow piece sideways. Thereafter the strip portion of the narrow piece is pressed along the direction of rising, to thereby form an approximately cylindrical contact section. A raised piece at the rear of the contact section is provided with a locking section which faces approximately at right angles with the direction of arrangement.
