    摘要: A slip control system for a torque converter of an automatic transmission includes lock-up clutch device provided in a torque converter for connecting an input and output members of the torque converter directly. A torque detecting device detects a transmitted torque introduced into the output member of the torque converter, a speed difference setting device sets a target value of a rotation speed difference between the input and output members, a pressure difference control device controls a pressure difference between a releasing chamber and an engaging chamber of the lock-up clutch device, based on a predetermined relationship between the input torque and the speed difference so as to accomplish the target value of the speed difference, and a speed difference detecting device detects an actual speed difference between the input and output members. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a compensatng device compensates the target value of the speed difference set by the speed difference setting device based on a deviation between the actual and target speed difference. A responsive slip control, therefore, can be accomplished.

    摘要: A hydraulic pressure control system for an automatic transmission includes a torque converter, a multiple transmission gear mechanism having a plurality of gear stages and frictional elements for switching power transmitting paths in the transmission gear mechanism, a hydraulic control mechanism for controlling engagement and disengagement of the frictional elements to establish one of the gear stages, and a line pressure control device for controlling line pressure of the hydraulic control mechanism in accordance with a vehicle operating condition. An engine torque detecting device detects an engine output torque, and a turbine speed detecting device detects a turbine speed of the torque converter. A shift condition detecting device detects a shift-up operation and a shift-down operation in the transmission, and the line pressure control device controls the line pressure in accordance with the engine torque in the shift-up operation and the turbine speed in the shift-down operation. A precise line pressure control can be accomplished for obviating torque shock at the time of the shift operation in the automatic transmission.

    摘要: A fluid coupling for an automatic transmission includes an input element, an output element and a lockup clutch and is connected to a transmission mechanism. The lockup clutch can engage and disengage to operatively connect and disconnect the input element and the output element with and from each other. Further the lockup clutch can engage in slipping engagement to connect the input element and the output element in such a way as to allow the input element and the output element to rotate relative to each other to some extent. A control system causes the lockup clutch to engage in slipping engagement with a substantially fixed engaging force when the transmission mechanism upshifts while the lockup clutch is in slipping engagement, and to disengage when the transmission mechanism downshifts while the lockup clutch is in slipping engagement.

    摘要: An automatic transmission of a vehicle has a transmission gear mechanism having at least a lower gear-speed and a higher gear-speed, and first and second friction coupling members which are applied or released by hydraulic pressures applied thereto. The first friction coupling member is kept applied when the transmission is in the lower gear-speed and the second friction coupling member is kept applied when the transmission is in the higher gear-speed. A control system for the automatic transmission has a hydraulic control circuit which controls the hydraulic pressure applied to the respective friction coupling members, thereby changing the condition of application of the friction coupling members and causing the automatic transmission to shift, and a control unit which controls the hydraulic control circuit according to the running condition of the vehicle. The control unit normally makes lower the hydraulic pressure applied to the second friction coupling member when it is kept applied than that applied to the first friction coupling member when it is kept applied by a predetermined value. When the vehicle is starting with the transmission in the higher gear-speed, the control unit inhibits itself from making lower the hydraulic pressure applied to the second friction coupling member when it is kept applied than that applied to the first friction coupling member when it is kept applied.

    摘要: A door opening/closing mechanism fitted on a door that closes and opens an opening formed in the body of an apparatus by being brought into and out of contact with the rim of the opening has cam mechanisms that permit the door to engage with and disengage from the body at either of the right and left sides of the door. The cam mechanisms can be brought into a first lock position in which they lie symmetrically at both sides of the door and into a second lock position in which they lie symmetrically at both sides of the door, and each have a hinge pin that serves as a rotation axis in the second lock position and a groove cam that engages with the hinge pin in such a way as to be movable relative to the hinge pin. The groove cam has a slide portion on which a part of the innermost portion of the hinge pin slides when the cam mechanism is moved from the first lock position to the second lock position and of which the length in the direction of the width of the door is greater than the maximum permissible variation in the outermost distance (L) between the two groove cams formed at both sides of the door. When the door is closed, the cam mechanisms at both sides are kept in the first lock position and, when the door is opened at one side, the door slides and thereby causes the cam mechanism at the other side to be brought into the second lock position so as to be rotatably locked in the second lock position.

    摘要: A suction cleaner that sucks in dust, from a suction mouth, with airflow generated through operation of an electric air blower and introduces the sucked airflow into a dust collection device to collect the dust. The suction mouth is provided with a first suction mouth and a second suction mouth, and, when in use, one of the suction mouths are selected by a suction mouth-switching device. The second suction mouth has a smaller opening area than the first suction mouth and a high-speed suction airflow is generated. A suction passage is provided between the first suction mouth and the suction mouth-switching device, a suction passage is also provided between the second suction mouth and the suction mouth switching-device, the latter suction mouth being arranged on top of the former suction mouth. Part of the latter suction mouth is structured by a detachable cap formed of a transparent or semitransparent material. Further, the suction mouth can be provided with an opening area-adjusting device that adjusts the opening area of the suction mouth.
