Abstract:
A hybrid access gateway receives packets that are sent by a network side device and are destined for a home gateway. When detecting that congestion occurs on a first transmission link and that no congestion occurs on a second transmission link, the hybrid access gateway obtains a first committed information rate (CIR) of the first transmission link and a second CIR of the second transmission link, classifies the packets into a first-type packet and a second-type packet, and transmits the first-type packet using the first transmission link and the second-type packet using the second transmission link. By properly allocating packets transmitted on the second transmission link, the hybrid access gateway can control one-way delays of the first transmission link and the second transmission link, thereby avoiding a packet loss caused by a sequencing buffer overflow.

A device identification method, apparatus, and system are provided. A management device or a collection device first determines a network traffic feature of a to-be-identified device based on a first dataset. The first dataset includes a plurality of pieces of first data, and each piece of first data includes a data amount of a data packet that is of the to-be-identified device and that is collected within one first periodicity. Then, the management device or the collection device determines a device type of the to-be-identified device based on a device identification model and the network traffic feature of the to-be-identified device.

The network device has an embedded streaming function module. The encoder includes two egress ports, where the two egress ports of the encoder are connected to an active input port and a standby input port of the network device respectively. The encoder is configured to: receive a streaming media service signal, encode the streaming media service signal to generate a streaming media service coded signal, and send the streaming media service coded signal to the network device. The network device is configured to receive, by using the embedded streaming function module through the active input port or the standby input port, a streaming media service coded signal sent by the encoder, and provide the streaming media service coded signal for a terminal.
