    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an information transmission method and a communication apparatus that may be applied to a communication system, for example, V2X, LTE-V, MTC, IoT, LTE-M, and M2M, to perform information transmission between terminal devices in a contention-based scheduling mode. The method includes: a first terminal device sends first sidelink control information SCI to a second terminal device, where the first SCI includes information about a first subchannel set, the first subchannel set is an available subchannel set sensed by the first terminal device on a sidelink SL, and the first SCI does not include modulation and coding scheme MCS information. In embodiments of this application, the first SCI does not include the MCS information. This can both reduce signaling overheads of the first terminal device, and improve efficiency of demodulating the first SCI by the second terminal device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a transmission direction configuration method, a device, and a system, and relate to the field of communications technologies. A specific solution is as follows: a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, the first indication information is used to indicate a configuration of uplink and downlink transmission directions, the configuration is used to describe types, a number, and distribution of resource elements comprised in one period, the resource granularity comprises a time domain granularity, the time domain granularity comprises (OFDM) symbol, the types of the resource elements comprise at least one of an uplink resource element, a downlink resource element, or a switch resource element between the downlink resource element and the uplink resource element; and performs information transmission indicated by the first indication information, of the uplink and/or downlink transmission directions.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a base station, a small cell, and a control channel configuration method to resolve resource waste caused when an additional physical control channel is used on a backhaul link of a small cell to transmit control information. In a base station provided by an embodiment of the present invention, a transceiver module is configured to receive full-duplex capability support information transmitted by a small cell, where the full-duplex capability support information is used to indicate whether the small cell supports use of a same physical layer resource for simultaneous reception on a backhaul link and transmission on an access link; and a processing module is configured to determine a configuration mode of the backhaul link between the base station and the small cell and the access link of the small cell according to the full-duplex capability support information received by the transceiver module.
