    Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device, such as a notebook computer or laptop that includes a circuit board coupled to a plurality of electronic components (which includes any type of components, elements, circuitry, etc.). One particular example implementation of the electronic device may include a first body coupled to a first housing, a second body coupled to a second housing, and two or more taut flexible bands, wherein the taut flexible bands couple the first body to the second body and allow for timed rotation of the first housing relative to the second housing. In some examples, the hinge is a low profile hinge and can rotate about three hundred and sixty degrees.

An embodiment of an apparatus includes a vent having a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is an open position and the second position is a closed position; a muscle wire, a first end of the muscle wire being coupled with a connection to the vent and a second end of the muscle wire being coupled with an anchor point; and a tension element, a first end of the tension element being coupled with the vent at a connection point. The muscle wire is to apply a force to the vent to move the vent to the open position upon the muscle wire entering a contracted state, and the tension element pulling the vent to the closed position upon the muscle wire entering a relaxed state.

    Abstract: Thermally actuated vents for electronic devices. An embodiment of an apparatus includes a vent having a first position and a second position, wherein the first position is an open position and the second position is a closed position; a muscle wire, a first end of the muscle wire being coupled with a connection to the vent and a second end of the muscle wire being coupled with an anchor point; and a tension element, a first end of the tension element being coupled with the vent at a connection point.     Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to include a chassis, where the chassis includes a first chassis portion and a second chassis portion, a flexible display supported by the chassis, and a hinge. The hinge includes a first chassis attachment housing coupled to the first chassis portion, a first chassis portion lift arm coupled to the first chassis attachment housing, a first hinge pivot coupled to the first chassis portion lift arm, a second chassis attachment housing coupled to the second chassis portion, a second chassis portion lift arm coupled to the second chassis attachment housing, and a second hinge pivot coupled to the second chassis portion lift arm. The first chassis portion lift arm extends to increase a first distance between the first chassis attachment housing and the first hinge pivot and the second chassis portion lift arm extends to increase a second distance between the second chassis attachment housing and the second hinge pivot as the flexible display is bent.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to provision and/or utilization of a hidden feature for accessing and/or repairing mobile devices are described. An embodiment includes a wire physically adjacent to an adhesive. The adhesive bonds a first portion of a computing device and a second portion of the computing device. The wire is capable of being heated in response to application of electrical voltage or current. In turn, the heated wire causes cutting of the adhesive to allow for physical separation of the first portion of the computing device and the second portion of the computing device. Another embodiment utilizes a hidden end of an opening in a computing device to hide a fastener. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.
