摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for using speech input to control a surgical robot are disclosed. A surgical robot is disclosed that can be controlled by a surgeon using speech input in a conversational manner. The surgical robot is provided either general commands or specific instructions, assessing whether the instructions can be completed within the capabilities of the available hardware and resources, and seeking approval from the surgeon prior to executing the instructions. Alternatively, the embodiments disclosed allow the surgeon to perform an action that cannot be safely completed by the surgical robot.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for robotic insertion of a screw, a rod, or another component of a surgical implant into a patient are disclosed. Synchronous insertion of screws is performed by multiple surgical robots or a single surgical robot having multiple arms and end effectors. The movements of each robotic arm are coordinated into position in preparation of the insertion of multiple surgical implant components at the same time or in the same surgical step. The insertion of the surgical implant components is performed while monitoring the insertion progress. The insertion is completed autonomously or in coordination with a surgeon.

摘要: Computer-implemented methods for telemetry-based control of medical equipment scheduling for a surgical procedure based on patient data retrieved from an electronic health records database and a surgical system including the medical equipment. A scheduling prompt is received from a computer device at a medical facility. The medical equipment is telepresence-operated. A surgical consultant is identified from a consultant database based on a surgical consulting requirement. A communication channel is established to send patient data to a user device of the surgical consultant at a remote location to cause the patient data to be displayed by the user device. Operation of the medical equipment is controlled by the user device based on received consultant inputs in compliance with a stored access control list for the surgical consultant. A flow of network traffic is managed for sending patient data to the user device.

摘要: A supply tray for a surgical procedure is selected based on the surgical procedure and patient data retrieved from an electronic health records database. Multiple steps of the surgical procedure are retrieved from the electronic health records database. A message is sent to a first manipulator to move a supply from the supply tray to a staging area for performing a step. A first indication is received from a first sensor that the supply is needed at a present time. A position where the supply is needed in an operating area proximate to the staging area is determined using a second sensor. A second message is sent to a second manipulator to move the supply from the staging area to the position. A second indication is received from a third sensor that the step is complete. A third message is sent to a third manipulator to remove the supply.

The apparatus segments the surgical implant into surgical implant subcomponents and modifies the surgical implant subcomponents, such that they can be inserted using the identified less-invasive installation paths.

摘要: A system for performing robotic laser surgery is disclosed. The system comprises at least one surgery equipment, a surgeon terminal, and a communication module. Further, the system includes a surgical computer communicatively coupled to the at least one surgery equipment via the communication module. The surgical computer is configured to transfer data between the surgeon terminal and the at least one surgery equipment. The surgeon terminal is configured to modulate the tunable laser to conduct the surgical procedure in fully autonomous mode or semi-autonomous mode using robot controls. Further, a plurality of sensors is used to real-time data while performing surgical procedure and transmit the real-time data to the surgeon terminal.

摘要: The disclosed technology provides for printing a 3D structure in-situ within a patient during a surgical procedure. The disclosed technology can include generating instructions for a 3D printer of a surgical robot to print a structure within the patient's body, simulating and verifying the instructions, and autonomously or semi-autonomously executing the instructions, once verified, during a surgical procedure. Generating the instructions for printing the 3D structure within the patient can be based on image data of the patient. Generating the instructions can also include selecting substrate materials that are both safe for the patient and having desired properties of the final printed structure. Modifications can be made to the instructions based on results from the simulation. The disclosed technology provides for application of safe substrate material directly to hard and/or soft tissues within the patient's body via an additive manufacturing process, such as 3D printing.

The disclosed system uses real-time angiography and artificial intelligence to navigate an end effector of a surgical robot through a patient's vasculature to provide a surgical intervention. Digital imaging is performed that enables three-dimensional mapping of the patient's vasculature. Locations and movement of the end effector of the surgical robot are determined. The end effector is used to perform an intervention such as the removal of a blood clot or delivery of a drug for dissolving a blood clot.

The system comprises a surgical robot communicatively coupled to a 3rd party operating room equipment system over a cloud network. The surgical robot includes an operating room hardware configured to perform a surgical procedure on a patient. A memory is communicatively coupled to operating room hardware and user interface, and the memory comprises an equipment database and a threshold database to store parameters related to the operating room hardware. A processor, coupled to the operating room hardware via the network interface, is configured to establish a connection between the surgical robot and the 3rd party operating room equipment system, and monitor events being performed by the operating room and then store the monitored data within the threshold database. The threshold database stores trigger values for each piece of equipment for taking actions, based on data collected by sensors.
