Abstract: In one embodiment, a processor includes a caching home agent (CHA) coupled to a core and a cache memory and includes a cache controller having a cache pipeline and a home agent having a home agent pipeline. The CHA may: receive, in the home agent pipeline, information from an external agent responsive to a miss for data in the cache memory; issue a global ordering signal from the home agent pipeline to a requester of the data to inform the requester of receipt of the data; and report issuance of the global ordering signal to the cache pipeline, to prevent the cache pipeline from issuance of a global ordering signal to the requester. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing bearers in a radio access network (e.g., next generation RAN (NG-RAN), etc.). In one example, a central-unit control-plane (CU-CP) communicates with a distributed unit (DU) and a CU-UP to exchange transport network layer addresses (TNLAs) and tunnel endpoint identifiers (TEIDs) between the DU and the CU-UP. In this way, the DU becomes resistant to the CU-UP's rejection of a bearer setup request from the CU-CP during a bearer setup procedure. Furthermore, during virtual machine (VM) migration or local problems of the CU-UP, an E1 procedure known as “bearer relocate” can be defined to notify the DU of a new TNLA for one or more affected general packet radio service tunneling protocol (GTP) tunnels that are affected by the VM migration or local problems.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in a radio aggregation unit (RAU) of a cloud radio access network (Cloud-RAN or C-RAN), the cloud-RAN including a radio cloud center (RCC) and a plurality of radio remote systems (RRS) coupled to the RCC, wherein each RRS comprises an RAU coupled to a plurality of Remote Radio Units (RRUs) is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an input circuit configured to receive a first scheduling result from the RCC and a scheduling circuit configured to generate a second scheduling result for scheduling the one or more UEs in the coverage area of the RAU. Further, the apparatus comprises a processing circuit configured to selectively schedule a select UE from one or more UEs in the coverage area of the RAU, based on the first scheduling result from the RCC or the second scheduling result or an integration of the first scheduling result and the second scheduling result, based on a predetermined threshold associated with a receipt time of the first scheduling result from the RCC at the RAU.

Abstract: Systems and methods for granular cache repair. An example processing system comprises a processing core communicatively coupled to a cache via a cache controller and a cache repair memory communicatively coupled to the cache controller. The cache controller is configured, responsive to receiving a read request referencing a physical address, to: retrieve cache data from a cache location identified by the physical address, retrieve, in parallel with retrieving the cache data, cache repair data from the cache repair memory, the cache repair data associated with the cache location, the cache repair data comprising at least one of: a bit repair value, a column repair value, and a raw repair value, and output the cache data multiplexed with the cache repair data.
