Abstract:
The invention provides rinse-off wet skin compositions comprising structuring systems which in turn comprise (a) non-pre-gelatinized starch; and (b) fatty acid, and which systems provide enhanced properties. The fatty acid also needs to be added to the aqueous phase during preparation of the formulation.
Abstract:
The invention provides high molecular weight polymers used in small amounts as viscosity modifiers for aqueous/aqueous biphasic liquids. The viscosity of the biphasic is enhanced at least 20%, preferably at least 30% relative to same compositions without use of polymer. Further, the polymer is included without destroying the ability of dual phase compositions to form after product is left standing.
Abstract:
A method and system for preventing an operator of a vehicle from using a handheld wireless communication device without a hands-free communication device associated therewith when the vehicle is in motion.
Abstract:
A system and method for monitoring the operational condition of a motor vehicle using a silhouette and pupil defining device combined with a capability to analyze and track any changes of the operator's silhouette and of the size, shape and location of the operator's pupils within a defined zone in the motor vehicle.
Abstract:
A method and system for preventing an operator of a vehicle from using a handheld wireless communication device without a hands-free communication device associated therewith when the vehicle is in motion.
Abstract:
An electronic device including a predictor that has a collision history table (CHT) is presented. An extended load buffer is connected to the predictor. Also included is a marking unit, a comparing unit and a recovery unit connected to the extended load buffer. Unexecuted load instructions are advanced over store instructions. Also presented is a method for fetching an instruction and determining if an instruction is a store or a load. If the instruction is a store, then the method performs a silent store prediction. If the instruction is a load, a predicted silent store instruction is bypassed and the load instruction is executed.
Abstract:
A method and system for warning an operator of a vehicle of a vehicular task that is being performed beyond a pre-determined time for execution of the task involving incrementally increasing audio and visual warnings as the task continues to be performed past the pre-determined time.
Abstract:
A method and system for preventing an operator of a vehicle from using a handheld wireless communication device without a hands-free communication device associated therewith when the vehicle is in motion.
Abstract:
The invention relates to use of specifically defined polydextrose to induce biphasic liquid formation. Optional use of salt allows less polydextrose to be used to induce biphasic formation.
Abstract:
Topical ophthalmic medicament delivery system combining an aqueous ophthalmic gel suspension at a pH equal to or greater than 7.5 and an osmotic pressure of from 10 to about 400 mOsM containing a pharmaceutically effective mount of one or more ophthalmic medicaments of from about 0.05% to about 10% by weight, based on the total weight of the suspension, of a carboxyl-containing polymer prepared by polymerizing one or more carboxyl-containing monoethylenically unsaturated monomers and less then about 5% by weight of a cross-linking agent. The systems have a viscosity of from about 1,000 to about 30,000 centiposes prior to administration to the eye and remain a gel in the eye for a prolonged period of time allowing for the sustained release of one or medicaments such as amine containing antibiotics alone or in combination with cortiscosteroids.
