    摘要： A mechanism for moving into and out of an enclosure having in wall has a support having a first column for disposal inside of the enclosure on a first side of the wall and a second column for disposal outside of the enclosure on a second side of the wall. A platform for straddling the wall is disposed on the support. A seat is slidingly and rotatably arranged on the platform and has a first position on the platform for loading, a second position for allowing the user to lift a leg, and a third position wherein the user is in position for washing. A lock is disposed between the seat and the platform for locking or unlocking the seat in each of the first, second and third positions.

The rail opening has a shape having a larger diameter at the back portion and a smaller diameter at the front portion. A plug conforms to the shape of the opening, has a plug opening therein and a lip disposed upon an internal surface thereof. The lip engages a hook having an extension for insertion into the plug opening and engaging the lip within the plug.

    摘要： This invention concerns a new embodiment of the instrument to measure nuclear polarization described in U.S. Pat. No. 6,356,080. The coil, that couples the nuclear polarized substance to the electronics, has been designed not to pick up ambient electromagnetic noise. The output from the low level oscillator is passed through a Schmidt trigger to reduce noise. A local oscillator beats with the output of the low level oscillator to provide an audible output. The instrument is automated, using a microprocessor with a customized downloaded program, to control the operation of the instrument and to output the results of measurement to a liquid crystal display and, if desired, to an external computer. This computer is not necessary and the instrument can act as a stand alone.

    摘要： A socket for mounting a finial on either of two telescoping tubular support rods includes a first engagement surface that enters into and contacts the smaller rod and a second engagement surface that surrounds and contacts the larger rod. The engagement surfaces wedge into an interference or force fit with the rod ends to maintain the finial on the rods. The surfaces are preferably defined by the side walls of an annular groove shaped to conform to the cross section of the support rod. The socket includes slots for mounting the finial on a holdback bracket. The slots are conveniently formed as widened regions of the annular groove and are positioned in diametrically opposed locations to permit top-to-bottom symmetrical finials to be inverted about a horizontal axis and front-to-back symmetrical finials to be inverted about a vertical axis for mounting on the left or the right side of a window opening.
