Abstract:
An anti-static ball has a ball housing having a plurality of outwardly extending spikes and a plurality of receivers. A plurality of anti-static foam wafers are mounted on the receivers of the ball housing.
Abstract:
Presented is a device for processing packets of flows on a network link. The device includes a scheduling module for scheduling packets in a queue in accordance with a fair queuing with priority algorithm.
Abstract:
This A flow management method includes a step (E10) of computing an image value of a flow identifier; a step (E30) of initializing a credit representing the activity of the flow in a directly addressable register of a data structure (TA, TB); and a step (F20) of updating that credit, systematically, so that the credit of the flow expires at the end of a predetermined time-out period (TO).
Abstract:
A method of ordonnancing packets belonging to different flows comprises: a step (E58) of queuing each packet in a queue associated with the flow of said packet; and for each of said queues processed cyclically, a step of sending packets contained in said queue up to a quota for said cycle; said method being characterized in that it further includes: a step (E40, E54) of determining the priority of said packet before said step (E58, E56, E48) of queuing, the priority packets being, firstly, the first packets of the inactive flows, namely the flows for which no packet has been received in said cycle, and, secondly, the packets of the active flows for which the volume of packets received in the cycle is less than the quota; and a step of sending with priority in said cycle packets determined to have priority during said determination step (E40, E54).
Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a configuration utility. The systems and methods may include receiving, at the remote terminal unit, a first request for a page. The page may include a link associated with the configuration utility that may be transmitted from the remote terminal unit. The configuration utility may be stored on the remote terminal unit and configured to create, based on user input, a configuration file for the remote terminal unit. Next, a second request corresponding to the link to the configuration utility may be received at the remote terminal unit. The configuration utility may be transmitted from the remote terminal unit, in response to the second request. Moreover, the configuration file may be received at the remote terminal unit. The configuration file may be configured to cause the remote terminal unit to operate in a first manner selected, based upon user input, from a plurality of manners.
Abstract:
A check valve assembly has a valve seat for positioning in a passageway between a water supply and an outlet device such as a sprinkler head or a pipe section. A disc valve is located on the water supply side of the valve seat, and a separate actuator is movably mounted on the opposite side of the seat for movement between an operative position extending through the valve seat to hold the valve in the open position, and an inoperative, retracted position. The disc valve is moved by the actuator into the open position when the sprinkler head is located at the outlet. Release or removal of the actuator as a result of removal of the sprinkler head or other outlet device will allow fluid pressure at the fluid supply end of the passageway to urge the valve into the closed position.
Abstract:
The present invention provides molecular constructs and methods for use thereof, including constructs including heterologous miRNA recognition sites, constructs for gene suppression including a gene suppression element embedded within an intron flanked on one or on both sides by non-protein-coding sequence, constructs containing engineered miRNA or miRNA precursors, and constructs for suppression of production of mature microRNA in a cell. Also provided are transgenic plant cells, plants, and seeds containing such constructs, and methods for their use. The invention further provides transgenic plant cells, plants, and seeds containing recombinant DNA for the ligand-controlled expression of a target sequence, which may be endogenous or exogenous. Also disclosed are novel miRNAs and miRNA precursors from crop plants including maize and soy.
