    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes display elements each including a lower electrode, an upper electrode and an organic layer between the lower electrode and the upper electrode, a rib which has a plurality of pixel apertures overlapping the display elements, respectively, and a partition which includes a conductive lower portion provided on the rib and an upper portion protruding from a side surface of the lower portion and surrounds each of the display elements. Further, the partition is divided into a plurality of segments for detecting an object which is in contact with or close to a display area including the display elements.

    Abstract: A method of driving a display device includes the following steps: a step of applying a first voltage to a drain of the driving transistor from the first power supply line, while applying an initialization voltage lower than the first voltage to a gate of the driving transistor; a step of applying a voltage higher than the initialization voltage lower than the first voltage to the drain of the driving transistor, and applying a voltage based on a video signal to the gate of the driving transistor; and a step of applying the first voltage to a drain of the driving transistor from the first power supply line and supplying a current to the light emitting element while holding the voltage based on the video signal to the gate of the driving transistor.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a lower electrode, a partition which has a conductive lower portion and an upper portion provided on the lower portion and protruding from a side surface of the lower portion, an organic layer provided on the lower electrode, and an upper electrode provided on the organic layer.
