Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; a display region in which a plurality of pixels are provided; a peripheral region positioned between an edge of the first substrate and the display region; a plurality of scanning lines extending in a first direction; a plurality of signal lines extending in a second direction; a plurality of terminals arranged in the first direction in the peripheral region of the first substrate; a plurality of connection lines that connect the terminals and the signal lines; a plurality of spacers provided between the first substrate and the second substrate in a direction perpendicular to the first substrate; and a plurality of dummy electrodes separated from the connection lines in planar view and provided between the first substrate and the spacers in the direction perpendicular to the first substrate.

Abstract: A three-dimensional display device prevents a barrier wire breakage failure and includes a parallax barrier panel resistant to static electricity. The 3D display device has a liquid crystal parallax barrier panel disposed over a display panel. The parallax barrier panel has a first substrate having an electrode formed flat thereon and a second substrate having a display area, the first substrate and the second substrate having liquid crystal sandwiched therebetween. The second substrate has barrier electrodes extending in a first direction and arrayed at a first pitch in a second direction, has a first bus electrode extending in the second direction outside the display area along a first side thereof, and has a second bus electrode extending in the second direction outside the display area along a second side thereof opposite to the first side. Abstract: Provided is a display device capable of improving the display quality by suppressing the influence of a difference in hold voltage in a pixel circuit, occurring between forward scanning driving and backward scanning driving. The display device includes: a data signal line; a plurality of pixel circuits; a plurality of gats signal lines; a gate signal line driving circuit for performing any one of forward scanning driving and backward scanning driving and performs gate overlapping driving; a data signal line driving circuit; and a reference voltage line driving circuit for supplying a reference voltage. The reference voltage line driving circuit selects and supplies a reference voltage for forward direction and a reference voltage for reverse direction, during the forward scanning driving and the backward scanning driving, respectively.

Abstract: A display device includes a first pixel group and a second pixel group. A central value of positive-side and negative-side grayscale voltages of the first pixel group is set to be a fixed value. A common voltage is adjusted to its optimal value with respect to the first pixel group. A difference between the common voltage adjusted to the optimal value with respect to the first pixel group and an optimal common voltage of the second pixel group is corrected by shifting entire positive-side and negative-side grayscale voltages of the second pixel group in a vertical direction.
