The storage device also includes at least one contact member that is electrically connected to the memory. The communications connection system also includes a fiber optic adapter module having one or more media reading interfaces. Each media reading interface is configured to read physical layer information stored on one of the fiber optic connectors received at the adapter module. Certain types of media reading interfaces extend between an internal passage of the adapter module and an external surface of the adapter module.

    摘要: An electronics enclosure is provided. The enclosure includes a cylindrical body, one or more modular card cages adapted to receive one or more electronic circuit cards. The one or more modular card cages including an outer frame member in direct physical and thermal contact with an inner wall of the cylindrical body, an inner frame member, one or more support members coupled between the outer frame member and the inner frame member, and a plurality of electronic device retainers adapted to couple to the modular card cage and hold each of the one or more electronic circuit cards in direct physical and thermal contact with one of the one or more support members. The support members provide an isolated heat dissipation path for heat, produced by each of the one or more electronic circuit cards, to be removed from the enclosure.

    摘要: A tracer lamp unit for use with a DSX system is disclosed herein. The tracer lamp unit includes an elongate housing with a generally rounded cross section wherein the housing is configured to be secured within an opening defined by a piece of telecommunications equipment and held within with a press-fit, wherein the housing provides structural support for a lighting arrangement including a lens, a capacitor, a resistor, leads, and a flashing control circuitry, the housing further providing structural support for spring members including tail portions and electrical contact portions, wherein the electrical contact portions engage the leads to provide an electrical connection therebetween. In another embodiment, the tracer lamp unit comprises an LED flashing module that houses a lens, a capacitor, a resistor, leads, and a flashing control circuitry, wherein the tracer lamp unit housing is adapted to slidably receive, provide structural support for, and be separable from the LED flashing module.
