摘要： An outer race assembly for a constant velocity joint may include an outer race defining a plurality of tracks and a piston selectively moveable along the tracks of the outer race. The outer race assembly may further include a seal disposed about the piston and abutting the outer race about substantially an entire perimeter of the piston. The seal thereby generally seals an interface between the piston and the outer race.

摘要： Apparatus and methods are provided for use in filtering emboli from a vessel, wherein a vascular filter is disposed on a guide wire, the vascular filter having a support hoop disposed from a suspension strut so as to permit lateral eccentric displacement of the support hoop relative to a longitudinal axis of the guide wire. A blood permeable sac is affixed to the support hoop to form a mouth of the blood permeable sac. The support hoop is disposed obliquely relative to the guide wire and is capable of being properly used in a wide range of vessel diameters. The support hoop collapses the mouth of the blood permeable sac during removal of the vascular filter to prevent material from escaping from the sac. A delivery sheath and introducer sheath for use with the vascular filter of the present invention are also provided.

摘要： This invention is a method and device for quickly removing thrombus from the vascular system, particularly from a saphenous vein graft which can have highly organized thrombus over its entire length. Thrombus is pulled into a chamber at the distal end of the thrombus extraction device as a result of negative pressure, a severing mechanism severs the portion of the thrombus that is in the chamber, and fluid under pressure is supplied to transport and dilute the blood and thrombus, which renders the thrombus more manageable and reduces the blood loss to the patient.
