Abstract: A multifunctional peripheral includes an image reading unit, an image memory, a facsimile communication unit, a modification instruction reception unit, and a data modification unit. The image reading unit acquires data to be transmitted by facsimile. The image memory stores the acquired data. The facsimile communication unit performs facsimile transmission of the data in the image memory to a counterpart. The modification instruction reception unit accepts a modification instruction to modify the data of already transmitted and untransmitted pages, while the facsimile transmission to the counterpart is being performed. The data modification unit modifies the data of the page designated as object of the modification while the facsimile transmission is being performed.

Abstract: An image forming system includes a print device, a print job accepting circuit, an interrupt permission circuit, and a distance acquisition circuit. The interrupt permission circuit permits the interrupt print with a count of paper sheets equal to or less than a count of printable sheets printed by the print device within an interruptible time that ensures execution of the interrupt print, within an acceptable extension time by which an extension of completion time of the interrupted print job is accepted. When the reference time changing section changes a reference time in the middle of fax transmission from the fax transmission section to a destination, the time modifying section standardizes times of day for use in generating time-stamp representations to be synthesized on all pieces of page data being subject to the fax transmission to the times of day in either the reference time before or after being changed.
