摘要: An enterprise inventory management system, and methods of use thereof, utilizing novel functionalities. The system includes a centralized global inventory database subsystem for cataloging a plurality of inventory items from a plurality of remote physical locations, each of the items identified by at least a unique identification code; and, a plurality of localized radio frequency identification (RFID) interrogator subsystems associated with a corresponding plurality of remote physical locations, wherein each of the localized RF interrogator subsystems is operative to read RFID tags associated with ones of the plurality of inventory items located at its associated physical location, wherein each of the RFID tags is programmed with at least a unique identification code for its associated item. Each of the localized RFID interrogator subsystems is operable to: first, receive, from the centralized global inventory database subsystem, a plurality of unique identification codes associated with a like plurality of items; second, scan the RFID tags of ones of the plurality of inventory items contained at its associated physical location; and, third, report, to the centralized global inventory database subsystem, whether any of the plurality of inventory items is present at its associated physical location.

The real space is regularly segmented into coordinate regions. The display control unit causes the display apparatus to display coordinate region information regarding coordinate regions to which positional coordinates estimated for the respective management targets belong.

摘要: A radio frequency identification (RFID) reader is contained in a mobile station. The RFID reader includes a transmitter for transmitting an interrogating radio frequency (RF) signal. It includes a receiver for receiving responding RF signals generated in corresponding pairs of RFID tags. Each responding RF signal contains information identifying a corresponding access point (AP). The RFID tag pairs are attached to corresponding regions of each location of corresponding locations. A processor of the RFID reader selects a responding RF signal based on signal strength and derives the information contained in the selected responding RF signal that identifies a corresponding AP among several access points that is the most appropriate one to associate with in a handoff operation.

摘要: An inventory management system includes a scanning system moved by a pulley system to scan a series of inventory locations, such as in a retail display, and determine respective inventory amounts at each inventory location. The scanning system includes a distance sensor that measures the distance to a retail item at the inventory location, and a transmitter that wirelessly transmits the distance measurement. A pulley system moves the scanning system along at least one axis and comprises at least two pulleys, a stationary motor, and a connection line connected to the scanning system. A controller controls the stationary motor to move the scanning system to an aligned position with each inventory location in a series of inventory locations. The inventory management module is configured to determine an inventory amount at each inventory location based on the distance measurement at the respective inventory location.

摘要: A book placement posture identification method based on an RSSI signal value of RFID, including: step 1, horizontally moving to read the signal of an RFID tag placed in a book by using an RFID device; step 2, classifying triples with the same EPC number as a category to serve as the RSSI signal values of the internal RFID tag of the book obtained at different moments; step 3, preprocessing the data obtained in step 2; step 4, establishing a model to obtain a time-varying rule of the RSSI value of the RFID tag of the book; step 5, sampling data, training a classification model, and judging the placement posture of the book according to a model established according to test data and a classification model; and step 6, vertically moving to read the signal of the RFID tag placed in the book by using the RFID device.
