摘要: A method for separating p-xylene by separating and recovering only p-xylene from a p-xylene-containing raw material mixture under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions using a zeolite membrane as a separating membrane is provided. The p-xylene partial pressure at the raw material side of the separating membrane is kept at a sufficiently high pressure and the p-xylene partial pressure at the recovery side of the separating membrane is controlled at a pressure which is not higher than the inflection point of p-xylene adsorption curve. This method for separating p-xylene using a zeolite membrane as a separating membrane can secure a sufficient p-xylene permeation amount and has industrial applicability.

摘要: A waterproof tap cover for use in a waterproof connector which prevents a waterproof tap from being damaged when a terminal metal member is removed from a connector housing in the waterproof connector. The waterproof tap, which is formed of rubber and includes a plurality of insertion holes respectively formed so as to oppose a plurality of terminal storage chambers formed in the connector housing, is fitted with the rear portion of the connector housing, and the waterproof tap is fixed by the waterproof tap cover which has a plurality of through holes corresponding to the insertion holes. Chamfered escape recesses are formed in the hole edge portions of the through holes adjacent the waterproof tap in order to accommodate ridge portions of the waterproof tap when the terminals are withdrawn from the connector housing so that the connector can be resealed when the terminals are inserted again.

摘要: A support for a connector to be inspected and an inspection device body are disposed to be freely movable with respect to a base, connector engaging pins which go into the connector to be inspected are fixed to the base side within the support, and a plurality of inspection pins are arranged in a row in the inspection device body with their respective leading ends projected. For inspection, the inspection pins are moved backward as contacted with the terminal fitting of the connector to be inspected to pass electricity through a circuit in the inspection device body and the connector engaging pins work to detect the terminal fitting in the incompletely inserted state and move the incompletely inserted terminal fitting into the completely inserted position as the connector is moved. By constructing as described above, the incompletely inserted terminal fitting is detected when inspecting conductivity of the connector terminal fitting, and the incompletely inserted terminal fitting is forced to move into the completely inserted state, thereby making it possible to prevent the terminal fitting from coming off.

摘要: A jointed structure comprising at least two kinds of oxide superconductor having different melting points, higher melting point superconductor and one lower melting point oxide superconductor being alternately jointed. In this jointed structure, the lower melting oxide superconductor is used as a joint layer for the higher melting oxide superconductors. The jointed structure can be obtained by combining an Y--Ba--Cu--O oxide superconducting material and a Bi--Sr--Ca--Cu--O oxide superconducting material, or by combining two Bi--Sr--Ca--Cu--O oxide superconducting materials of different compositions and accordingly of different melting points. Large cylindrical structures used as, for example, a container for apparatus for biomagnetism measurement can be produced by jointing two or more divided cylindrical parts. In this case, the techique of the jointed structure of the present invention can be applied for jointing of the divided cylindrical parts. The cylindrical structure produced by jointing divided cylindrical parts according to the present invention can prevent the incoming of geomagnetism, thereby enabling reliable measurement of biomagnetism.
