摘要: A magnetic recording tape favorably employable for computer data storage has a flexible polymer web, a magnetic recording layer arranged on one surface side of the web, and a backing layer arranged on another surface side of the web, characterized in that the recording tape has a thickness of 2 to 8 .mu.m and shows a Young's modulus of not less than 1,200 kg/mm.sup.2 in its longitudinal direction; and the backing layer has a thickness of 0.2 to 1 .mu.m and is composed of a binder, a carbon black, a non-magnetic powder I having Mohs' scale of hardness of 3 to 4.5 and another non-magnetic powder II having Mohs' scale of hardness of 5 to 9. Between the magnetic layer and the flexible polymer web, a non-magnetic undercoating layer composed of a binder and a non-magnetic powder can be provided.

摘要: A tube container has an outer tube formed with an extruding mouth at one end and two inner tubes each formed with an extruding mouth at one end. The inner tubes are inserted into the outer tube, and the extruding mouths of the two inner tubes are secured to the extruding mouth of the outer tube, respectively, while the other ends of the two inner tubes and the other end of the outer tube are pressed and welded together to form a hermetically sealed portion. The outer tube has a transverse cross section taking the form of an ellipse or a closed running track shape, namely a shape combining two semicircles with two straight lines. The inner tubes are arranged in the outer tube in the direction of major axis of the transverse cross section of the outer tube. The other ends of the two inner tubes and the other end of the outer tube are pressed in the minor axis of the transverse cross section and welded together, wherein the respective hermetically sealed portions of the two inner tubes have a length more than half of the hermetically sealed portion of the outer tube, and a part of one inner tube and a part of the other inner tube lie one upon the other.

摘要: A tube container for receiving semifluid material includes a tubular body formed of an elastic synthetic resin, a neck portion formed of a synthetic resin and integrally mounted on the body at a shoulder, and a valve member fitted in the neck portion. The valve member includes a side wall, an upper end plate, a valve sheet and a stopper. The side wall provides a tight fit with an inner surface of the neck portion and the end plate is formed with a passage for flow of the material to an outlet in the neck portion. Placed on the end plate is the valve sheet which is movable between the end plate and the stopper to open or close the passage in accordance with pressure applied to the body. Upper portion of the stopper is located adjacent to the outlet so as to minimize a space therebetween.

摘要: A tubular container is molded with a cap by defining; at least one portion of a cavity for molding a neck portion between a female die for receiving a cap having a screw on the inside thereof and a male die having a fixed guide rod for insertion into the cap centrally thereof. A top end portion of a preformed container body is partly inserted into the cavity. A synthetic resin, which possesses compatibility with the container body and is not fused together with the cap, is injected into the cavity to form the neck portion integrally with the container body.

摘要: In one aspect, the magnetic recording medium comprises a magnetic layer comprising a ferromagnetic powder and a binder and said binder comprises polyurethane resin having a glass transition temperature of 100 to 200° C. In a second aspect, the magnetic recording medium comprises a nonmagnetic layer comprising a nonmagnetic powder and a binder and a magnetic layer comprising a ferromagnetic powder and a binder in this order on a nonmagnetic support and at least the binder comprised in said magnetic layer comprises polyurethane resin having a glass transition temperature of 100 to 200° C. In both aspects, said magnetic layer has a thickness equal to or less than 0.15 μm, said ferromagnetic powder has a mean major axis length or a mean plate diameter of 60 nm or less, and said magnetic layer has a coercivity of 159 to 239 kA/m in a longitudinal or in-plane direction.

摘要: Disclosed is a magnetic recording medium comprising a magnetic layer on a surface of a flexible support and a backcoat layer on the opposite surface, characterized in that the backcoat layer comprises a granulated oxide consisting of titanium oxide, &agr;-iron oxide or a mixture thereof and carbon black in the weight ratio ranging from 60/40 to 90/10, and further comprises a binder in an amount ranging from 10 to 40 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the granulated oxide and carbon black. The magnetic recording medium of the present invention is characterized in that both the running durability and electromagnetic characteristics are excellent.
