摘要: A multi-layer bell is formed from the outer shell of a multi-layer pipe in a secondary process, thereby allowing the extrusion process to be conducted at normal speeds. The bell may include a strain limiting membrane fused or mechanically secured between the outer shell extrusion layer and the inner liner extrusion layer, increased hoop or circumferential stiffness. This invention allows the extrusion process to be in its simplest form, with no adjustments to the corrugator or extruder speeds.

摘要: A tube-in-tube assembled parison for preparation of an elongated medical device. The parison if formed by assembling in tube-in-tube fashion a first tube of orientable polymer material and a second tube formed of orientable polymer material disposed around the first tube, with an adhesive tie layer disposed between the first and second tubes. The tubes are brought into contact to form a unitary parison. The adhesive may allow movement between the polymer layers during balloon blowing. The first tube, or the second tube, or both, may have been longitudinally pre-stretched after formation thereof but before assembly of the parison.

摘要: A tube container of double or triple sleeve structure is fabricated to include a molded nozzle having a neck and a shoulder formed integrally. An outer sleeve is welded to the shoulder of the molded nozzle An inner sleeve also is welded to the molded nozzle. A mixing nozzle piece is fitted tightly to the internal circumferential surface of the molded nozzle. A first creamy content is filled into the internal lower space of the inner sleeve and a second creamy content is filled into the annular space between the inner and outer sleeves.

摘要: A double-containment thermoplastic pipe assembly is provided to prevent against potentially hazardous spills or leaks of chemicals and the like. The double-containment pipe assembly comprises a containment pipe and at least one carrier pipe disposed therein. The carrier pipe is retained in spaced relationship to the containment pipe by support clips with outwardly extending radially aligned legs. Restraint couplings may be disposed at selected locations along the double-containment pipe assembly. The restraint couplings include a carrier portion, a containment portion and a connecting portion extending therebetween. Double-containment pipe fittings also are provided to ensure complete double-containment protection throughout an entire double-containment pipe assembly.

摘要: A method is proposed for manufacturing a pipe-lining material comprising a tubular resin absorbent material covered with a tube comprised of an airtight plastic film. The tubular resin absorbent material is inserted into the tube, expanded in a columnar shape, and brought into close contact with the internal peripheral surface of the tube. A heater is wound in close contact with the external peripheral surface of the tube thus expanded. The tube and the tubular resin absorbent material are heated by energizing the heater, and the tube is thereby heat-fused to the tubular resin absorbent material. With such a method, a mechanism for moving the tube and the tubular resin absorbent material is not required. In addition, since heat non-uniformities are not generated, the tube can be uniformly heat-fused to the tubular resin absorbent material, thereby enabling a high-quality pipe-lining material to be manufactured.
