    摘要: An apparatus, kit, and methods for forming a bead between bead-forming blocks having internal bead-forming channels are provided. The bead-forming channels of adjacent bead-forming blocks are slidably engaged to manipulate a measured amount of modeling compound between the bead-forming blocks and within an internal space between the opposing channels. In one embodiment, the bead-forming blocks maintain orientation with respect to an axis of travel based on a block guide. Further, the measured amount of modeling compound is determined using an integrated measuring feature coupled to at least one of the pair of bead-forming blocks. The internal volume of an integrated measuring feature corresponds to a threshold amount of modeling compound for manipulating between the pair of blocks and forming a bead while contacting at least a portion of the mated bead-forming channels. In further aspects, a molded bead may be coated with a multicomponent bead-coating mixture. Multi-component bead-coating mixtures and methods of using thereof are provided.

    摘要: The invention pertains to an improved container (e.g bottle) cap which is a single use leakproof closing, which shows obvious indications of an illicit opening and re-use, having a double level of tamperproof means.This cap is a screw cap (1) for a neck (2) of a bottle (3) comprising an upper part (4) removable from the neck (2) and a lower part (5) non-removable from the neck (2). Said lower non-removable part (5) is a tamper evidence band (TEB) linked to the bottom edge (12) of the cap's skirt (11) by annularly regularly distributed frangible connection bridges (13) which are designed to be broken at the first licit opening of the bottle by unscrewing and removal of the upper part (4) of the cap (1). Said TEB also displays any breaking in of the cap (1) before the first container (3) opening, thanks to additional lower markers (18) which are composed of annularly regularly distributed frangible connection bridges (18). Upper frangible bridges (13) and lower frangible bridges (18) are below the top edge (2′) of the neck (2) in the original closed position of the cap and define a top ring (5′) of the TEB (5) which is intact after the first licit opening.

    摘要: Fastening devices are described. In one example, the fastening devices can be used for a landing string buoyancy solution. The landing string hardware includes a stop collar to be fitted and secured around a drill pipe and stop collar hardware to secure the stop collar together around the drill pipe. The stop collar can be secured at one end of a number of buoyancy modules placed along a longitudinal length of the drill pipe to hold them into place along the drill pipe. The stop collar can be formed from long fiber thermoplastic using extrusion-compression molding. The stop collar hardware includes a bolt having an external thread formed from long fiber thermoplastic and a nut having an internal thread formed from long fiber thermoplastic. Both the stop collar and the stop collar hardware are tested for suitability for the application of holding the buoyancy modules in place under operating conditions.
