Provided is a cosmetic method for treating perspiration and, optionally, the body odors related to thereto, e.g. underarm odors, with an effective amount of particles of an expanded amorphous mineral material or of a composition thereof, and more particularly containing expanded perlite particles. The composition can contain, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, at least the above particles and at least one antiperspirant salt or complex. Also provided is a composition containing, in a cosmetically acceptable carrier, at least the above particles and at least one antiperspirant salt or complex. Also, provided is an anhydrous solid composition in stick form comprising in a cosmetically acceptable carrier: (i) more than 1% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of expanded mineral particles as defined above; and (ii) at least one fatty phase comprising at least one volatile oil and/or at least one non-volatile oil and a structuring agent.

The present invention relates to a dispensing device comprising: a) a container comprising a deformable wall, and b) a composition stored in the container, and comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: i) at least one aqueous phase, and ii) optionally at least one oily phase, iii) at least one structuring agent; the said composition having a stiffness modulus G*>5000 Pa, and c) a dispensing head closing off the container and comprising an application wall defining at least one product dispensing orifice which is a slit. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating and/or caring for human keratin materials, characterized in that it consists in applying to the surface of the keratin material a composition dispensed via the device as defined previously. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating human perspiration and/or perspiration-related body odour, which consists in applying to the surface of a human keratin material a composition dispensed via the device as defined previously.

A subject of the present invention is therefore a composition comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: a) an aqueous phase and b) at least hydrophobic silica aerogel particles and; c) at least one alcohol of formula (I) below and also optical isomers thereof: R1 represents an —OH or CH2OH group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or an —OH group; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C22 alkyl group; R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an —OH group, a —CH2OH group, a —CH(OH)—CH3 group, a —C(CH3)2—OH group, a —(O)—CH2—CH2)n—OH group, a —(O—CH2—CH(CH3))m—OH group or a —(CH2—CH2)p—OH group; n denotes an integer ranging from 1 to 10; m denotes an integer ranging from 1 to 10; p denotes an integer ranging from 1 to 5; with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R1, R2, R3 and R4 comprises at least one hydroxyl function; R5 represents a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C22 alkyl group and d) at least one deodorant active agent other than said alcohol of formula (I) and/or at least one antiperspirant active agent; said hydrophobic silica aerogel particles being dispersed in the aqueous phase. This invention relates to a composition comprising at least the following in a physiologically acceptable medium: an aqueous phase and; an oily phase comprising at least one non-volatile hydrocarbon oil chosen from among linear or branched hydrocarbons, and; at least one glycinate type anionic surfactant and possibly at least one additional anionic surfactant different from glycinates and fatty acid salts; at least one amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactant and; at least 5% by weight of the total weight of the composition of at least one structuring agent chosen from among saturated fatty acids with a melting point of less than 45° C., saturated fatty alcohols with a melting point of less than 45° C., and mixtures thereof and; the ratio by weight of the total quantity of anionic surfactants and amphoteric or zwitterionic surfactants to the quantity of the structuring agent varies between 80/20 and 60/40.

The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: A) a continuous aqueous phase and B) an oily phase dispersed in the said aqueous phase and comprising at least one hydrocarbon-based oil; C) at least one mixture consisting of: i) at least one nonionic surfactant containing a saturated linear by drocarbon-based chain comprising at least 16 carbon atoms, the said surfactant being other than a fatty alcohol, and ii) at least one fatty alcohol in pure form containing at least 16 carbon atoms or a mixture consisting exclusively of fatty alcohols containing at least 16 carbon atoms; D) at least one wax with a melting point of greater than 45° C. comprising one or more C40-C70 ester compounds and not comprising any C20-C39 ester compounds, in an amount from 1 to 10% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition and E) at least one water-soluble polysaccharide; the said composition having a viscosity, measured at 25° C. with a Rheomat RM 180 viscometer at 200 s−1 at room temperature with a No. 3 or No. 4 spindle after 10 minutes, ranging from 1500 mPa·s to 12 000 mPa·s and preferably from 2000 mPa·s to 8000 mPa·s. The present invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating and/or caring for human keratin materials, characterized in that it consists in applying to the surface of the keratin material a composition as defined previously.
