Abstract: The display device of the present disclosure may comprise a display panel equipped with pixels each representing image data and photo sensors each outputting an electric signal through a sensing line responding to light, a data driving circuit providing a data voltage corresponding to the image data to the pixel through a data line, a gate driving circuit supplying, through a gate line, a scan signal for controlling an application of the data voltage to the pixel disposed on a horizontal line and for controlling a connection of the photo sensor disposed on a corresponding horizontal line and the sensing line, a sensing driving circuit outputting digital sensing data by summing the electric signals of two photo sensors disposed on different horizontal lines and sharing the sensing line; and a timing controller supplying control signals for controlling the data driving circuit, the gate driving circuit and the sensing driving circuit.

Abstract: A display device capable of driving at low speed is disclosed. Pixels connected to a first data line on odd-numbered display lines of a display panel are positioned on one side of the left and right sides of the first data line, and pixels connected to the first data line on even-numbered display lines of the display panel are positioned on the other side of the first data line based on a Z-inversion scheme. When a mode conversion control signal for switching to an interlaced low speed driving mode is input during a normal drive, in which a length of one frame is set to P, a timing controller expands a length of one frame for a low speed drive to (n×P), where n is a positive integer equal to or greater than 2 and assigns a length P to each of n sub-frames of the one frame.

Abstract: A display device includes a pixel circuit connected to a light emitting element. The pixel circuit includes a driving transistor having a gate electrode, a source electrode, and a drain electrode, and a capacitor connected with the gate electrode. The pixel circuit is driven according to a first period when a reference voltage is applied to the gate electrode, a second period when a gate-source voltage difference of the driving transistor is a threshold voltage of the driving transistor, a third period when the reference voltage is applied to the capacitor, and a voltage of the gate electrode varies due to a coupling phenomenon of the capacitor, a fourth period when a high-potential voltage higher than the reference voltage is applied to the source electrode, and a fifth period when the driving transistor is turned on to cause the light emitting element to emit light.

Abstract: A display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a display panel that includes a display area where a plurality of pixels is disposed and a non-display area disposed around the display area; a gate driver that provides a scan signal and an emission control signal to the display panel; and a controller that drives the display panel in accordance with a refresh rate. The plurality of pixels includes a light emitting element and a pixel circuit that drives the light emitting element. The pixel circuit is driven in sets including at least one refresh period and at least one hold period in low frequency driving. The controller controls dynamically the refresh rate during the at least one set when a gradation of an image changes, and simultaneously, changes and supplies a bias voltage during the at least one hold period.
