    Abstract: A piston for a compressor includes a bearing portion having a cylindrical shape to define a suction space into which refrigerant is accommodated therein, the bearing portion being provided with a bearing surface facing an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, a head portion coupled to a front opening of the bearing portion and provided with a plurality of suction ports which communicate with the suction space, the head portion having a compression surface configured to face a compression space to compress the refrigerant in the compression space, and a flange portion coupled to a rear opening of the bearing portion and provided with a through-passage through which the refrigerant is introduced from a muffler unit to the suction space, the flange portion being coupled to a driving portion to transmit driving force to the piston. The bearing surface is subjected to a surface treatment to improve abrasion resistance.

    Abstract: A reciprocating compressor is provided. The reciprocating compressor may include a cylinder having a compression space, a piston inserted into the cylinder to define the compression space while being reciprocated, the piston having a suction passage to communicate with the compression space, a gas bearing having at least one bearing hole that passes through the cylinder, so that a refrigerant gas may be injected between the cylinder and the piston to support the piston with respect to the cylinder, and a flow resister disposed at an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder or at one side of the cylinder to restrict a flow of the refrigerant gas flowing through or toward the at least one bearing hole.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger of the present disclosure is operated in a cooling operation mode in which a region to be heat-exchanged is cooled by the heat exchanger or in a drying operation mode in which the heat exchanger is supplied with wind from a blowing fan, and comprises: a refrigerant pipe which forms a flow path of a refrigerant; a cooling fin which is coupled to the refrigerant pipe; and a hydrophilic coating with which the surface of at least one of the refrigerant pipe and the cooling fin is coated, wherein the hydrophilic coating contains: a first type transition metal oxide which becomes acidic by reacting with water formed on the refrigerant pipe or the cooling fin, so as to have antimicrobial activity when the heat exchanger is operated in the cooling operation mode; and a second type transition metal oxide or a post transition metal oxide which has antimicrobial activity when the heat exchanger is operated in the drying operation mode.
