Abstract: A dryer includes a drum including a drum body, a front cover with a drum inlet, and a rear cover with an air inlet, a fixing panel that has a first cooling hole and a second cooling hole, a motor configured to rotate the drum, where the fixing panel further defines supply holes arranged along a circumferential surface of the motor and configured to guide air to the air inlet, a supply duct fixed to the fixing panel and configured to guide air to the supply holes, where the supply duct defines an accommodating space that accommodates the motor, and a duct cover that connects together the first cooling hole, the accommodating space, and the second cooling hole and that is configured to circulate air through the first cooling hole, the accommodating space, and the second cooling hole to thereby cool the motor.

Abstract: A clothes treating apparatus having a drying function includes: a cabinet; a drum provided within the cabinet; a heat-exchanger heat-exchanged with air exhausted from the drum; a lint filter disposed on an upstream side of the heat-exchanger with respect to flow of air exhausted from the drum to collect lint in the air; a spray tube spraying water to the lint filter to separate lint collected in the lint filter from the lint filter; and a lint collecting part at least partially provided below the lint filter or below the heat-exchanger to collect falling lint. Lint in condensate water may be collected, and thus, generation of a bad influence when condensate water is re-used may be suppressed. Also, contact between lint in drying air and the heat-exchanger may be restrained.

Abstract: A dryer is provided. The dryer may include a second condenser integrally provided with an evaporator and employing a heat pump to maximize a condensation effect so as to enhance heat exchange efficiency, thereby enhancing dehumidifying capability. The dryer may be a circulation type heat pump dryer including a cabinet, a drum, a drying duct to circulate dry air back to the drum, an evaporator having a heat pump, a first condenser, a compressor, an expansion apparatus, and a second condenser to condense refrigerant condensed by the first condenser again so as to supercool the refrigerant during the refrigerant cycle, thereby enhancing dehumidifying capability in the evaporator.
