Abstract: An air cleaner includes a case, an air inlet, an air outlet, a grill covering the air inlet to filter airborne oil droplets, a fan to suction air through the air inlet and discharge air out of the air outlet, a roll filter provided between the grill and the fan to filter oil mist, and a filter roller to cut the roll filter. The roll filter includes a roller and a filter sheet wound around the roller, and the filter sheet may be unwound to extend behind the grill. When the filter sheet becomes dirty, the roll filter is further unwound so that a clean section is provided behind the grill, and the filter cutter may cut off the dirty section. During cutting, a clamp holds down the filter sheet. The case includes a slit through which the dirty section of the filter sheet passes for discarding.

Abstract: A kitchen hood has a first housing and a second housing that slides into and out of the first housing to adjust a length of the kitchen hood. The first housing has a fan to suction air, an outlet, and an air quality sensor assembly to continuously detect air quality in a kitchen. The second housing has an inlet and suction grill through which air is suctioned, a steam cleaning assembly to automatically steam clean an interior of the kitchen hood, and a height sensing assembly to sense a height of cookware seated on a cooktop surface below the second housing. The kitchen hood may be lengthened or shortened based on the sensed height of the cookware, and a speed of the fan and the height of the kitchen hood may be automatically adjusted based on detections by the air quality sensor assembly.

Abstract: A shoe treating apparatus including a sensor part including at least one sensor, a motor part configured to control tilting of at least one shelf, and a processor electrically connected to the sensor part and the motor part is provided. The processor may identify an approach of a user by using the at least one sensor, and may generate, based on the identified user approach, a control signal for adjusting a tilt speed of the at least one shelf.
