    Abstract: An air conditioner may include a compressor that compresses a refrigerant; a condenser that condenses the refrigerant discharged from the compressor; at least one expansion valve that expands the refrigerant passed through the condenser; at least one gas-liquid separation pipe through which the refrigerant passed through the at least one expansion valve flows; a gas-liquid separator, into which the refrigerant passed through the at least one gas-liquid separation pipe is introduced, that separates and discharges the refrigerant introduced into the gas-liquid separator into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant; and an evaporator that evaporates the liquid refrigerant discharged from the gas-liquid separator. The gas refrigerant discharged from the gas-liquid separator and the refrigerant passed through the evaporator may be provided to the compressor.

    Abstract: Provided is an air conditioner including a connection pipe connected to a refrigerant pipe disposed inside an outdoor heat exchanger that operates as a condenser during a cooling operation and as an evaporator during a heating operation, a header connected to the connection pipe, wherein a refrigerant separated from a two-phase refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant pipe flows through the header, a bypass pipe connected to the header to guide a flow of the refrigerant to a compressor, a flow rate control valve installed at the bypass pipe to control a flow velocity of the refrigerant, a subcooler configured to superheat the refrigerant flowing through the bypass pipe, and a controller configured to control an opening degree of the flow rate control valve.

    Abstract: A robot according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a user interface unit configured to receive an input from a user; an object recognition unit configured to sense a human body and an object; a position recognition unit configured to sense positions of the human body and the object; a driving driver configured to control movement of the robot; and a controller configured to control an operation of the robot, wherein the controller is configured to perform control such that: when the human body is detected within a predetermined first range by the robot, the robot is woken up and a touch monitor included in the user interface unit is turned on, and when the human body is detected within a predetermined second range by the robot, content for receiving an input from the user is output on the touch monitor.

    Abstract: An air conditioner is provided that may include a compressor that compresses a refrigerant; a condenser that condenses the refrigerant discharged from the compressor; at least one expansion valve that expands the refrigerant passing through the condenser; a gas-liquid separator, through which the refrigerant passed through the at least one expansion valve flows, that separates and discharges the refrigerant into gas refrigerant and liquid refrigerant; an evaporator that evaporates the liquid refrigerant discharged from the gas-liquid separator; a refrigerant inflow pipe that connects the expansion valve and the gas-liquid separator; a bypass pipe that connects the gas-liquid separator and the compressor; and a refrigerant discharge pipe that connects the gas-liquid separator and the evaporator. The gas-liquid separator may include a housing in which a portion of each of the refrigerant inflow pipe, the bypass pipe, and the refrigerant discharge pipe may be disposed; a first partition wall, which is disposed in an internal space of the housing and includes a first opening formed by cutting out a portion of an outer surface thereof disposed adjacent to the refrigerant inflow pipe, and a second partition wall, which is spaced apart from the first partition wall and disposed in the internal space of the housing and includes a second opening formed by cutting out a portion of an outer surface thereof disposed adjacent to the refrigerant discharge pipe.
