Abstract:
Slacking off device (24) for use on a drilling device (2) for rock drilling. The drilling device (2) comprises a rock drill (4) to which a drill string (10) is adapted to be jointed by means of a thread joint. The drill string (10) comprises an arbitrary number of drill rods (12, 14, 16) which are adapted to be jointed together by means of thread joints. The drilling device (2) comprises a driving device for forward and back rotation of the drill string (10). The slacking off device (24) comprises a clamping device (25) arranged to clamp up the drill string (10) and a separate striking device (33) arranged to strike with an angle towards the longitudinal direction of the drill string (10) of principally 75°-105° on a first (32) of any of said thread joints under back rotation so that an impressed torque on the drill string ((10) is obtained in a thread slacking rotation direction to provide slacking of the first tread joint (32).
Abstract:
An evaporator including an evaporating chamber equipped with a drainage. The drainage drains accumulated liquid from the evaporator's lower parts and includes an external expansion driven injector and/or an external pump. The evaporator can be used e.g. in a heat exchanger, e.g. in a heat pump system or air condition system, and the vacuum driven injector can be integrated with an expansion device of the heat exchanger. A condenser can be used together with the evaporator in a heat exchanger of the plate type realizing an integrated superheater/supercooler. This is accomplished by the definition and use of delimited interacting zones through which the cooling medium circulates under heat exchange with itself.
Abstract:
A system and method are used in connection with processing of blood components. The processing of blood components may involve centrifugal separation and/or filtering of the blood components. In some examples, at least some blood components are centrifugally separated in a chamber and then filtered via a filter rotating along with a centrifuge rotor, wherein the filter is located closer than the chamber to an axis of rotation of the rotor. The filter may include a porous filtration medium configured to filter leukocytes, platelets, and/or red blood cells. Some examples include a pressure sensor sensing pressure of pumped blood components. The sensed pressure may be used in connection with controlling the pumping of the blood products and/or in connection with determining the location of an interface associated with the blood products. Other uses of the sensed pressure are also possible.
Abstract:
A method for injection moulding, comprising introducing, under pressure, a melt into a cavity (14) defined by two mould halves (10, 11) of a mould (6). The method is characterized by the steps of joining the mould halves (10, 11), for definition of said cavity (14), by moving at least one of the mould halves (11) along a first axis, and, by moving along a second axis extending transversely of said first axis, arranging a locking means (7) on the mould (6). The locking means (7) has locking surfaces (19) which grasp the mould (6) and its joined mould halves (10, 11), at least one locking surface (19) wedgingly engaging a complementarily designed surface (17) of the mould (6) to cause conversion of the force by which the locking means (7) is arranged on the mould (6), into a locking force for holding together the mould halves (10, 11) in their joined state. The present invention also concerns an injection moulding assembly as well as a mould for injection moulding assemblies.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to derivatives of phosphorylated carbohydrates and pharmaceutical compositions comprising as a pharmaceutically active ingredient at least one of these compounds.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of an ester of inositoltrisphosphate for the preparation of a medicament for preventing, alleviating or combatting inflammatory conditions in mammals including man.Injury or destruction of tissues should be understood as damage to an aggregation of specialized cells with a particular function both internally and externally in the body, such as different organs or parts of these, vessels, skin etc.Tissue damage involves a complex series of events such as dilatation of vessel walls e.g. arterioles, capillaries and venules, increased permeability of fluids including e.g. plasma proteins and increased blood flow. Increased vascular leakage often results in extravasation and oedema formation which characterize the damage of different tissues.Often tissue damage and inflammatory conditions are characterized by signs of pain, heat, redness, swelling and loss of function.Tissue damage is not defined as a disease per se but is often a component in different diseases of both acute or chronic nature.
Abstract:
A bypass device in a low noise amplifier unit for amplifying communication signals in the microwave frequency range. The device includes a printed circuit board with transmission lines (1, 2), an amplifier (A), a transmission line bypass segment (3) extending in parallel to the amplifier, and switching means for activating said bypass segment in case the amplifier becomes inoperable. The amplifier is connected between two transmission line stub segments (4, 5). The switching means include solid state components (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) having a controllable impedance, either very low or very high, these components being connected to ground at selected points (3a, 3b, 4a, 4b) in the bypass segment (3) and in the stub segments (4, 5) so as to activate the bypass segment when all of said solid state component are in a state of very high impedance and to effectively cut off the bypass segment when all of said solid state components are controlled to a state of very low impedance, in which case the communication signals pass through the amplifier.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an inositol phosphate containing pharmaceutical composition which comprises an aliphatic ester or ether for improvement of the bioavailability of the inositol phosphate in mammals including man at non-parenteral administration. Abstract:
One embodiment of the invention relates to a dynamically adjustable differential band-pass filter. This band-pass filter includes a first leg that has an input portion and an output portion with a first inductor therebetween. It also includes a second leg in parallel with the first leg, where the second leg has an input portion and an output portion with a second inductor therebetween. The first inductor is symmetrically inter-woven with the second inductor. In some embodiments, the band pass filter is configured to compensate for losses due to the inductors. Other band-pass filters and methods are also disclosed.
