    Abstract: A power tool system includes a hand-held power tool having a housing with a battery pack interface, an electrically-driven device and a first connector. A battery pack is detachably attached to the battery pack interface and supplies current to the electrically-driven device. An adapter has a second connector physically and electrically connected with the first connector in a detachable manner. The adapter receives power from the battery pack via the hand-held power tool and provides at least one additional electrical function to the hand-held power tool or performs at least one additional electrical function that the hand-held power tool is not otherwise capable of performing. Further, the adapter is at least partially disposed in a space defined in part by the housing and in part by the battery pack when the housing and battery pack are attached to each other.

    Abstract: A measurement system according to one aspect of the present invention includes a battery pack and at least one type of connected device to which the pack is connected. The pack includes a first detection device detecting a predetermined physical quantity in the pack and having a predetermined measurement range. The connected device includes a second detection device detecting a physical quantity the same as the predetermined physical quantity and having a measurement range different from the range of the first detection device. One of the pack and the connected device includes a receiving device and a measurement processing device that performs a predetermined measurement process by using one of: a detection-value-related information received by the receiving device; and a detection result by one device of the first detection device and the second detection device, the one device being provided in one of the pack and the connected device.

    Abstract: An electrical device system having a battery pack, an electrical device, and a charging device, includes: a current detecting unit that detects a battery current flowing through the battery during a charge to or a discharge from the battery; a battery state detecting unit that detects at least one of a battery voltage and a temperature of a heat generating unit; and a determining unit that estimates an amount of change in at least one of the battery voltage and the temperature of the heat generating unit, based on the battery current, and calculates an amount of actual change in at least one of the battery voltage and the temperature of the heat generating unit, wherein the determining unit determines that the current detecting unit is abnormal, when the difference between the calculated amount of actual change and the estimated amount of change is a default value or more.

    Abstract: A communication device in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a storage, a first wireless communication circuit, an information obtaining circuit, and a storing processing circuit. The first wireless communication circuit receives first information through an antenna. The first information is wirelessly transmitted from a first transmission device.
