Abstract: A metrology system includes metrology equipment, a remote communication link, a local communication link, and a data processing unit (DPU). The metrology equipment is configured to generate a stream of data relating to inspected wafers, and to format the generated data into first and second data types. The remote communication link is configured to communicate with an external system. The data processing unit (DPU) is configured to (i) using the remote communication link, send the data belonging to the first data type directly to the external system, and (ii) perform analysis on the data belonging to the second data type, and, using the local communication link, provide results of the analysis to the metrology equipment.

Abstract: A device receives a packet from a local network. The packet may be directed toward a cloud computing resource. The device determines that the packet is associated with a new packet flow. In response to determining that the packet is associated with the new packet flow, the device provides one or more packets from the new packet flow to a machine learning model for packet inspection. The device receives an output from the machine learning model and routes the new packet flow based on the output received from the machine learning model. The output indicates whether or not the new packet flow is associated with a network attack.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for facilitating an end-to-end link channel with one or more lookup tables for equalization. An example system includes a first transceiver and a second transceiver. The first transceiver includes a clock data recovery (CDR) circuit configured to receive communication data from a switch and to manage a lookup table associated with equalization of the communication data. The first transceiver also includes a first driver circuit communicatively coupled to the CDR circuit and configured to generate an electrical signal associated with the communication data. The second transceiver includes a second driver circuit, communicatively coupled to the first transceiver, that is configured to receive the electrical signal from the first transceiver and to modulate a laser source based on the electrical signal to generate an optical signal via the laser source.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for reducing data port downtime are provided. An example network interface device of the present disclosure includes a first data port and a second data port. The network interface device performs a first link training process associated with the first data port coupled to a first communication link to determine a first communication parameter set for the first communication link. The network interface device then deactivates the first data port and performs a second link training process associated the second data port coupled to a second communication link to determine a second communication parameter set. Based on a network usage parameter set associated with a data plane of the network interface device, the network interface device determines whether to activate the first data port concurrently with the second data port.

The optical receiver is configured to receive qubit data via a first communication channel associated with quantum communication. The embedded processor is configured to convert the qubit data into binary bit data. The network switch is configured to output the binary bit data via a second communication channel associated with classical network communication.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for a lookup table-based coding mechanism for communication systems. An example method includes receiving a signal to be transmitted, converting the signal into a converted analog signal using a digital to analog converter, receiving channel state information for a channel, calibrating the lookup table based on the channel state information, utilizing the calibrated lookup table to generate a coded analog signal based on the converted signal, and transmitting the coded analog signal, wherein the coded signal compensates for channel distortion of the channel.
