Abstract: Apparatus and method for modifying future workflows based on information received at current day. The method includes receiving, at an electronic processor, information corresponding to an object of interest and analyzing, using the electronic processor, the information to identify one or more attributes corresponding to the object of interest affecting an incident workflow for the object of interest. The method also includes generating, using the electronic processor, a modified incident workflow for the object of interest based on the incident workflow and the one or more attributes and storing, in a database, the modified incident workflow and a trigger condition corresponding to the modified incident workflow such that the modified incident workflow and the trigger condition are related to the object of interest in the database. Abstract: Methods and systems of breaking pursuit of a target. One example embodiment includes an electronic processor configured to develop a first identifier for the target and determine a breaking junction and an intercept point associated with a cornering route. The processor is configured to determine a geographical area associated with at least one possible target flee route for the target and determine a second identifier for an object within the geographical area. The processor is configured to develop a discrimination factor representing a degree of differentiation of the first identifier from the second identifier. The processor is configured to predict whether the discrimination factor will exceed a threshold when the pursuit asset arrives at the breaking junction. The processor is configured to, in response to the discrimination factor exceeding the threshold, notify the pursuit asset to break pursuit of the target at the breaking junction to execute the cornering route.

Abstract: A process for preempting a transmission during a group call. An electronic computing device detects a user interaction by a first talk group member with multimedia content corresponding to an incident and determines an interaction measure corresponding to the user interaction with the multimedia content. The electronic computing device then adjusts a transmission preemption priority assigned to the first talk group member based on the interaction measure and an incident priority level associated with the incident. When a user input to initiate a transmission from a first communication device associated with a first talk group member is detected, the electronic computing device preempts a transmission from a second communication device associated with a second talk group member participating in the group call when the adjusted transmission preemption priority assigned to the first talk group member is greater than a transmission preemption priority assigned to the second talk group member.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a success or failure of a software update is provided herein. When software is updated, part of the update process will require a radio to be configured to communicate on a new “update talkgroup”. As part of the update process, the user's device will send a short PTT bursts on the update talkgroup. If the PTT burst on the update talkgroup is received, it is assumed that the update was successful. If, however, the PTT burst on the update talkgroup is not received, it is assumed that the update was unsuccessful, stopping any further updates to other radios.

Abstract: Systems and methods for processing video stream data during live video sharing may reduce network bandwidth consumption by streaming full and partial video frames. An image processing device receives information from an image capturing device including a first full video frame, an object of interest identifier, and a movement profile of the image capturing device. The image processing device extracts a background portion from the first full video frame, exclusive of the object of interest. Subsequently, the image processing device receives a partial second video frame including only an object of interest portion, applies a transformation to the extracted background portion based on the movement profile, and displays a representation of the second video frame including the object of interest portion of the second video frame and the transformed background portion. The image processing device performs fine tuning to compensate for small background or movement profile changes between partial frames.

Abstract: A system and method for establishing a dynamic privacy zone for an object. In operation, an electronic computing device receives a request from an electronic tag associated with an object to establish a dynamic privacy zone for the object. The request includes location data indicating a real-time location of the object. The electronic computing device identifies a camera having a field of view overlapping with the real-time location of the object. The electronic computing device converts the real-time location of the object into a corresponding pixel location on the field of view of the camera. The electronic computing device then establishes a dynamic privacy zone for the object within the field of view of the camera as a function of the corresponding pixel location.

Abstract: Techniques for a digital assistant to receive intent input from a secondary user are provided. A digital assistant receives a query intent from a primary user, wherein the primary user is authorized to provide query intents. It is determined, based on the query intent, that intent input will be provided by a secondary user, wherein the secondary user is not authorized to provide query intents. Intent input provided by the secondary user is received. The digital assistant processes the query intent using the intent input. The results of the query intent are provided to the primary user.
