Abstract:
A comb for the hair includes a first side having a first series of teeth and a second side having a series of notches. At least one tooth is provided in the base of one or more of the notches. The tooth or teeth in the notch or notches have an end set back or recessed from the opening of the notch. The first and second sides extend on either side or in different directions from a lengthwise axis of the comb.
Abstract:
A device for packaging and applying a cosmetic product includes a container holding the product. The container opens out via a product delivery passage into at least one opening surrounded by an outwardly concave surface designed to bear against a surface to be treated. The bearing surface is delineated by a continuous outer edge of elongated shape, of which the tangent at the level of the deepest portion forms an angle greater than 45° with the lengthwise axis of the product delivery passage. The opening facilitates the application of product on a surface to be treated, in the form of at least one predetermined motif.
Abstract:
An assembly for packaging and dispensing liquid may include a receptacle for containing a supply of liquid and a refillable unit arranged to be placed in a separable manner on the receptacle. The refillable unit may include a body and a piston that is movable relative to the body and that co-operates therewith to define a storage chamber of variable volume for containing the liquid. The storage chamber may be put into fluid communication with the receptacle to be filled therefrom when the refillable unit is placed on the receptacle. The refillable unit may also include a pump arranged to take liquid from the receptacle when the refillable unit is placed thereon, and to take liquid from the storage chamber when the refillable unit is separate from the receptacle. The pump may include a pump chamber that is distinct from the storage chamber.
Abstract:
A pump for fixing on a receptacle includes: a stationary portion including a pump body; a moving assembly movable relative to the pump body and co-operating therewith to define a variable-volume pump chamber; an opening in the pump body that enables the pump chamber to communicate with the inside of the receptacle and enables the pump to operate in a head-down position; an air intake passage, distinct from the opening, between the stationary portion and the moving assembly; a first lip configured to press in a leaktight manner against the pump body and to prevent communication via the opening between the inside of the receptacle and the pump chamber; and a second lip arranged, at least when the moving assembly is in an end-of-stroke position, to prevent communication through the inside of the pump body and via the opening between the inside of the receptacle and the outside.
Abstract:
A packaging arrangement for a product and a sample associated with the product. The packaging includes a flexible tube having a first end which delimits an outlet hole a second end opposite the first which is closed at an end closure zone formed by fastening an end edge portion of the tube onto itself, for example, by welding or adhesive bonding. The tube further includes at least one intermediate closure zone which is formed between the first and second ends, and which is formed by fastening a wall of the tube onto itself along at least one transverse line so as to define at least two compartments which are isolated from one another. One of the compartments communicates with the outlet hole. The two compartments can be separated from one other by breaking (e.g., tearing) an arrangement for facilitating separation, with the separation facilitating arrangement provided in the region of the intermediate closure zone. The product and the sample can be the same or different products.

Abstract:
A device for applying a fluid product to hair. The device includes a product reservoir, and a comb having at least two groups of teeth. The two groups of teeth each include at least two teeth, and the distance between the two groups of teeth is greater than the distance between at least two adjacent teeth in each group of teeth. In addition each group of teeth is supplied with product from at least one product exit opening communicating with the interior of the reservoir. The space between the two groups of teeth is substantially free of teeth or has projections whose average length is smaller than the average length of the teeth in the groups of teeth.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a receptacle (1) comprising a tubular body (2) formed by a sheet comprising at least a first layer of plastics material and an outer, second layer that is fibrous, said sheet being assembled into a tube along at least two of its edges.
Abstract:
A comb for the hair including a body having a lengthwise axis (X). At least one first gap is defined between two teeth of a first pair of teeth, with this first gap having a first height. At least one second gap is defined between two teeth of a second pair of teeth, with this second gap having a second height lower than the first height. In a preferred form of the teeth defining the first and second gaps, only the teeth defining the second gap are arranged to hold a lock of hair between them. At least one of the teeth defining the second gap includes a projection extending into this second gap. In a preferred form, all of the teeth defining the first and second gaps are located on the same side of the body of the comb.
Abstract:
A packaging and applicator assembly may include: a container containing a composition for application, the composition including magnetic bodies; a magnetic device configured to enable a pattern to be made on at least one layer of composition applied on keratinous materials; and at least one item of information representative of a pattern that can be made on the composition with the magnetic device.
