A tubular liner for pipelines includes an inner tubular film and a fiber material layer located on the film and impregnated with a reactive resin curable under UV light. The film contains a styrene-proof and thermally weldable carrier material having a laminated non-woven layer on its outer side facing the fiber material. The carrier material includes an overlapping region along the film. Edge sections of the carrier material are thermally welded together in the overlapping region. The non-woven layer on the outer side of the radially inner lower edge section in the overlapping region is thermally welded to the carrier material on the lower side of the radially outer upper edge section, and the radially outer upper edge section in the overlapping region has a structure on its outer side enabling a durable adhesion of reactive resin. A method for manufacturing the tubular liner is provided.

A plastic container is provided having a sidewall, a downwardly extending upper lip, and a perforated line defined at a top edge of the container where the lip and sidewall are joined. The sidewall and lip may be formed from a container body constructed of a single sheet of material that is wrapped such that marginal edge portions of the blank are brought together in overlapping fashion to form a side seam. When the sidewall and lip are formed from such a blank of material, the perforated line is formed a specified distance below a top edge of such blank. The perforated line reduces the amount of force, heat and lubricant required in order to form (e.g., curl, roll, fold or bend) the upper lip of the container. The slits of the perforated line may extend across a width of the blank in either a uniform or variable fashion.

A method of manufacturing a pipe liner bag is provided for reliably sealing a seam of a resin absorbent material with simple operations without forming pin holes through the resin absorbent material. The pipe liner bag comprises a tubular resin absorbent material having an outer surface covered with a highly air-tight plastic film and a hardenable resin impregnated in the tubular resin absorbent material. A plastic film is welded on a surface of a strip-like resin absorbent material. The plastic film has a width smaller than the resin absorbent material which has sewing margins in both end portions in a width direction. The resin absorbent material is folded such that the plastic film is exposed. Both edges of the resin absorbent material in the width direction are laid one on top of the other. The overlapping portions of the resin absorbent material is lock sewed to form a tubular resin absorbent material. A seam protection tape is welded or adhered to the sewing margin including a seam of the resin absorbent material. A sealing ribbon tape having a width larger than the seam protection tape is welded or adhered over the seam protection tape to air-tight seal the seam.
