    摘要: A system and method of monitoring contaminant particles in pipelines. The system can include a probe for extending into a pipeline, and sampling fluid in the pipeline to ensure that a representative amount of contaminants within the pipeline can subsequently be measured. An analyzer receives the sampled fluid from the probe, illuminates the sampled fluid with a light source, and collects scattered light from any contaminant particles in the illuminated sampled fluid. A detector receives the scattered light from the analyzer, and converts the scattered light into an electrical signal that is proportional to the contaminant particles size. A processor receives the electrical signal from the detector, converts the electrical signal into digital data pertaining to the contaminant particles, and transmits the digital data on an Ethernet connection, or wireless signal to a communication network for distribution to at least one digital data processor for display and evaluation.

    摘要: Each player makes an initial ante wager and then each player and the dealer receive five cards face down. The player makes a "first" wager to see a sixth card and a "second" wager to see a seventh card. The sixth and seventh cards are each community cards used by each player and the dealer. Each player's hand is analyzed to see if the player has a qualifying hand of at least a pair of Deuces or better. If the player does not qualify, all wagers are lost by the player. If the player's hand does qualify, all cards of the dealer's hand are turned face up and each player's hand is compared to the dealer's hand using conventional poker hand ranking to determined whether the player's hand has a higher ranking five card poker hand than the dealer's hand. Each player also optionally may make a side bet wager to be eligible for special payouts, including a "bad beat" payout. The special payout can take either of two forms: 1) the player wins preselected payout amounts for poker hand rankings of at least a Four-of-a-Kind if the player's hand beats or ties the dealer's hand, or 2) the player wins other preselected and much higher amounts for poker hand rankings of at least a Straight or higher that the player achieves but the player's hand loses to the dealer's hand. Alternatively, the dealer's hand is analyzed to determine whether the dealer has a qualifying hand.

    摘要: A pad retention device for a brake calliper for a disc brake for a vehicle comprises four spaced elongate cylindrical abutment pins (11) to (14) dispersed at spaced intervals around the periphery of the pad (10). The pins comprise two leading edge pins (11) and (12) and two trailing edge pins (13) and (14). Pin (13) is disposed adjacent the upper leading edge and a further pin (15) provides a centre locating and retaining pin which extends through an aperture (16) in the back plate of the pad. A cantilever spring (17) is mounted on pin (15) and pin (13). In use the spring (17) bears down on the pad (10), using pin (13) as a reaction point and centre locating and retaining pin (15) as a pivot, on the trailing edge side of the pin (15). This in turn tends to rotate the pad in an anticlockwise direction reducing or eliminating pad to abutment pin air gaps and therefore pad rattle and pad knock. This arrangement also provides improved squeal noise resistance.

    摘要: A rotor hub fairing system includes an upper hub fairing, a lower hub fairing and a shaft fairing therebetween. The rotor hub fairing system is sized and configured to reduce the overall drag on a dual, counter-rotating, coaxial rotor system. Preferably, the rotor hub fairing is fully integrated. The shaft fairing preferably includes a minimal thickness at the midsection to reduce drag with an increasing thickness adjacent the upper and lower hub fairings to reduce the flow separation on the hub fairing surfaces without overly excessive drag. Other aerodynamic structures, such as a horizontal splitter and/or a plurality of turning vanes may be mounted to the shaft fairing to facilitate flow around the upper and lower hub fairings to reduce flow separation and drag.
