摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a difference calculation module, an addition module, and an output module. The difference calculation module calculates a difference between a first information amount that is generated between a first person in charge and a second person in charge when a business that constitutes a business process is finished and a second information amount that is estimated to be generated between the first person in charge and the second person in charge when the business that constitutes the business process is finished. The addition module adds the differences calculated by the difference calculation module in a combination of the first person in the business process and the second person in the business process or in other business process related to the business process. The output module outputs the sum of the differences calculated by the addition module as risks of the business processes.

摘要: A developing device for an image forming apparatus and using a one component type developer. The developer is transferred from a developer supply member to a developer carrier which are so rotated as to move in the same direction at a position where they contact each other. This prevents the developer from a toner storing section from directly reaching part of the developer carrier having moved away from the contact position despite the movement of the developer supply member. Conductive portions connected to ground and dielectric portions each having a small area are distributed regularly or irregularly on the surface of the developer carrier. Such a surface of the developer carrier is charged by friction by the developer supply member with the result that a great number of microfields are formed in the vicinity of the developer carrier. The microfields allow only the developer sufficiently charged by friction at the contact position to form multiple layers on the surface of the developer carrier. Consequently, the toner with a desired amount of charge and containing a minimum of uncharged toner can form multiple layers on the developer carrier and is transferred to an image carrier.

摘要: A developing apparatus having a rotatable toner carrier for transporting a toner to a developing region where it faces an image carrier on which a latent image has been electrostatically formed. The surface of the toner carrier is constituted by a mixture of conductive surface portions and dielectric surface portions and selectively holds a charge to form microfields. The toner having been charged is electrostatically deposited on the toner carrier by the microfields and transported to the developing region as the toner carrier moves. In the developing region where the toner carrier and the image carrier face each other while defining a developing gap therebetween, the toner electrostatically flies from the toner carrier to the latent image formed on the image carrier to thereby develop it.
