摘要: A fixing device for an image forming apparatus comprising a heat roller including a hollow roller body and a heater mounted through the roller body. The heater has a plurality of heating portions arranged at equal intervals along the axis thereof. The heater is shifted in the direction opposite to an air flow generated by an exhaust fan with respect to a recording-sheet contact area of the roller body so as to heat the end portion of the roller body located upstream of the air flow sufficiently enough to compensate for the drop of the temperature at the end portion of the recording-sheet contact area located upstream of the air flow cooled below a predetermined temperature by the unheated air flow.

摘要: A first folding portion includes: a first folding roller pair consisting of a common roller and a first roller; and a blade member that feeds a sheet to a first nip, thereby forming a first fold on the sheet in the first nip. A second folding portion includes a second folding roller pair consisting of the common roller and a second roller, thereby forming a second fold on the sheet in a second nip. The common roller and the first roller are parallel in a conveying direction in a case where the sheet is guided toward the first folding portion. The blade member moves in a direction that is substantially orthogonal to a conveyance surface. The common roller is disposed on an upstream side of the first roller in the sheet conveying direction.

摘要: A molded product from a mold, the mold for molding a molded product in a desired shape can be designed with high precision by correcting a shape change of the molded product. A mold in which use surfaces of an upper mold and a lower mold are formed to be design curved surfaces of an optical lens is prepared. A curved surface shape of the optical lens molded from this mold is measured, and a measured value is approximated by equation (1). The curved surface of the optical lens specified by the equation and a design curved surface are compared to obtain an error between both the curved surfaces. Information corresponding to the error is used as correction information, and the use surfaces in the upper mold and the lower mold are corrected and designed. 摘要: On an occasion of molding a molded product from a mold, the mold for molding a molded product in a desired shape can be designed with high precision by correcting a shape change of the molded product. A mold 10 in which use surfaces 16 of an upper mold 11 and a lower mold 12 are formed to be design curved surfaces of an optical lens is prepared. A curved surface shape of the optical lens molded from this mold is measured, and a measured value is approximated by equation (1) which is an equation of an aspherical surface to specify a curved surface of the above-described optical lens as an aspherical surface. The curved surface of the above-described optical lens specified by the equation of the aspherical surface and a design curved surface of the above-described optical lens are compared to obtain an error between both the curved surfaces. Information corresponding to the error is used as correction information (entire shape correction information, local shape correction information), and the use surfaces in the upper mold and the lower mold in the above-described mold are corrected and designed. 摘要: The difference in optical performance, such as astigmatism, the radius of curvature of a first surface, etc., of left and right lenses is kept at or below a specific level, and the difference in optical performance and the radius of curvature of the first surfaces between new and old lenses when the wearer changes lenses is also kept at or below a specific level, the result being lenses that are more comfortable to wear and are more attractive.

摘要: Ophthalmologic apparatus and methods are disclosed that permit reliable measurement of the refractive power of an eye both after and during invasive eye surgery. The refractive-power measurement is based on the output of a light sensor when a light flux, projected onto the retina, is reflected from the retina. The apparatus comprises a processor in which data regarding the intraocular pressure of the eye, before surgery and/or during surgery, can be entered. With refractive-power measurements obtained during surgery, the processor is operable to calculate, from the intraocular pressure data, a corrected refractive-power value for the subject eye under normal intraocular pressure conditions.
