The charging member is made up of a conductive support and a film formed on the support and formed of a substance having negative electron affinity. The film affects electrostatic electron discharge at a low voltage and can therefore charge the desired member more efficiently than a substance having electron affinity. In addition, the charger does not affect discharge and therefore reduces ozone.

    摘要: An object of the invention is to provide a thermocouple having a high response speed without receiving mechanical damages such as bending and curving even when it is used in a high-speed fluid. The invention provides a quick-response thermocouple for high-speed fluid in which a sheathed thermocouple having a small outer diameter that is formed by housing, in a metal sheath, a positive-side thermocouple filament and a negative-side thermocouple filament embedded within a powder of an inorganic insulating material, and by forming a temperature sensing point at a tip portion thereof by bonding the tips of the positive-side thermocouple filament and the negative-side thermocouple filament together at the tip portion thereof, is inserted in a protective tube having a large outer diameter so that the tip portion is exposed, in which a portion of the sheathed thermocouple that is exposed from the protective tube is inserted in a protective cylinder having a bottom cover with a hole on a tip side through which the sheathed thermocouple is inserted and having a plurality of through windows, the tip of the sheathed thermocouple is slightly exposed from the bottom cover of the protective cylinder, and the bottom cover of the protective cylinder and the sheathed thermocouple as well as the protective cylinder and a lower portion of the protective tube are welded.

In a preliminary process, the merged core layer is formed to have an elevated part at a location corresponding to the localized region, and an insulating layer is deposited around the elevated part of the merged core layer, before the gap layer is deposited entirely over the elevated part and the localized region.

    摘要: An apparatus for preparing infusions such as coffee in different forms includes a sealed container in which water is heated so that it can be used either as hot water or steam, a water tank and a heating element for heating the contents of the container. Water in the tank can flow into the container through a conduit containing a check valve. Four conduits have outlets at the top of the container. One of them is connected to an infuser and is adapted to transport hot water. Another conduit is adapted to transport steam which may be used for preparing a cappuccino-like drink or for preheating a receptacle. The other two conduits are for removing high pressure steam from inside the container, one of them having an outlet near the bottom of a subtank which is built as a part of the water tank.
