    摘要: A magnetic disk apparatus includes a magnetic head, a magnetic disk, and a rotary actuator to move the magnetic head onto the magnetic disk. The rotary actuator includes a center shaft fixed to a disk enclosure, a carriage supporting the magnetic head and rotatably mounted to the center shaft, and a coil spring to return the carriage to a CSS zone when there is a breakdown or failure of the power supply of the magnetic disk apparatus. The coil spring is provided in a space formed between the center shaft and the carriage, and thereby can achieve a more compact magnet disk apparatus. Moreover, due to the assembly of the return coil spring around the shaft using a pair of end ring members, contact of the spring with the shaft and carriage is avoided and proper operation of the magnetic heads is ensured.

The adhesive exhibits high levels of concealment, effectively reflects light emitted from the LED chip, and also exhibits favorable chip positioning properties, superior adhesive strength, and excellent durability.

    摘要: A line inverse driving method is performed by outputting voltages for gradation display in mutually reverse polarities with respect to pixels adjacent in a data signal line direction. A separation switch is provided between an output stage of a data driver and a data signal line to separate them. In a blanking period, the data signal line is cut off, and in the selection-scanning period of a scanning signal line to be scanned first, the scanning signal line to be scanned next is also subjected to the selection-scanning. With this structure, respective charges in adjacent pixel capacitors are neutralized, and it is therefore possible to reduce a power consumption. Further, since a short-circuit can be performed at short distance, the problem of dull waveform can be suppressed, thereby realizing an image display device suited for a large screen.

    摘要: A rotary type actuator for a magnetic disk device includes a magnetic head that traverses tracks of the magnetic disk as the actuator rotates about a rotary shaft. The rotary type actuator has at least one arm for the magnetic head at its front end. A first flat cable has one end connected to the rotary type actuator, for making an electrical connection to the electronics in the disk device. A second flat cable is provided on the side surface of the arm, for electrically connecting the magnetic head to the first flat cable. The first flat cable includes a plurality of lands arranged along an extended direction of the arm. The second flat cable includes a first land group provided at one end of the second flat cable for electrically connecting to the magnetic head. The first land group has a plurality of lands arranged along an extended direction of the arm. A second land group is provided at the other end of the second flat cable for electrically connecting to the first flat cable. The second land group has a plurality of lands arranged along the extended direction of the arm, disposed in face-to-face relationship with the lands of the first flat cable, and a lead pattern is provided for electrically connecting the first land group and the second land group. In this manner, the second flat cable overlaps with the first flat cable at the other end.
