摘要： A manufacturing system including: (a) a vessel for holding a liquid; (b) a first member and a second member, each having a flat surface, wherein the flat surface of the first member faces and is spaced from the flat surface of the second member, thereby defining a gap region between the two flat surfaces, wherein a section of the first member is transparent through the thickness of the first member; (c) a liquid delivery system connected to the vessel and the gap region which delivers the liquid to the gap region and the liquid flows in the gap region in view of the transparent section of the first member; (d) a camera positioned to view through the transparent section of the first member; (e) image processing means coupled to the camera for determining the homogeneity of the liquid in the gap region; and (f) liquid dispensing equipment connected to the liquid delivery system.

摘要： A process for dip coating drums comprising providing a drum having an outer surface to be coated, an upper end and a lower end, providing at least one coating vessel having a bottom, an open top and a cylindrically shaped vertical interior wall having a diameter greater than the diameter of the drum, flowing liquid coating material from the bottom of the vessel to the top of the vessel, immersing the drum in the flowing liquid coating material while maintaining the axis of the drum in a vertical orientation, maintaining the outer surface of the drum in a concentric relationship with the vertical interior wall of the cylindrical coating vessel while the drum is immersed in the coating material, the outer surface of the drum being radially spaced from the vertical interior wall of the cylindrical coating vessel, maintaining laminar flow motion of the coating material as it passes between the outer surface of the drum and the vertical interior wall of the vessel, maintaining the radial spacing between the outer surface of the drum and the inner surface of the vessel between about 2 millimeters and about 9 millimeters, and withdrawing the drum from the coating vessel.

摘要： An imitation candle type of table lighting fixture contains one or more rechargeable batteries. While the lamp is in its holder, the battery is continously coupled to the small light bulb. The battery is recharged by removing the candle from the holder and plugging it into a recharging unit having a phone plug extending into a jack centered in the bottom of the candle. The insertion of the plug into the jack opens the light bulb circuit and forms a charging circuit through the rechargeable battery.

摘要： A portable lighting system comprised of a plug-in lamp and a rechargeable power pack having a single phone jack and two parallel circuits to the battery. When upright, a discharge circuit containing a mercury switch connects the battery to the lamp. When inverted, the discharge circuit is opened and the parallel circuit containing a diode allows current to only pass into the battery from the jack coupled to a battery charger. The system will provide light to table surfaces for commercial use such as restaurants, retirement homes as well as in private homes, such as for swimming pool areas and nurseries.
