    摘要: A system and method for making a layered dental appliance. The system can include a mold comprising a negative of an outer shape of a layered dental appliance, and a dental core dimensioned to be at least partially received in the mold. The method can include positioning a first slurry in the mold, and pressing the dental core into the first slurry in the mold to form a first article comprising the dental core and a first layer formed from the first slurry. The method can further include removing the first article from the mold, and firing the first article. The method can further include positioning a second slurry in the mold, and pressing the first article into the second slurry in the mold to form a second article comprising the dental core, the first layer, and a second layer formed from the second slurry.

    摘要: Systems and methods for making a monolithic gel body. Some systems can include a substrate, a sol, an ammonia atmosphere. Some methods can include applying a first quantity of the sol to the substrate to form a first coated substrate, and positioning the first coated substrate in the ammonia atmosphere to cure the first quantity of sol to form a first supported gel comprising a first gel supported by the substrate. Such methods can further include applying a second quantity of the sol to the first supported gel to form a second coated substrate comprising the second quantity of sol and the first supported gel. Some methods can include positioning the substrate in the ammonia atmosphere while applying the sol onto the substrate to form a monolithic gel body by a layering process.

    摘要: A flared screw fitting has a pipe expanded in an end section into a tulip flare. A connecting piece has a conical stop face situated on an end section, which is joined in the direction of a forward front face of the connecting piece by a groove. An internal mantle surface of a union element contacts an external mantle surface of the tulip flare in an area whose smallest diameter is larger than the smallest diameter of the stop face of the connecting piece. The union element may be provided with an external threaded section which works together with an internal threaded section of the connecting piece.
